This is scary, very scary. Know what else is scary? Our airport director is excited about talking to a Chinese connection to come in to our airport.

DAVID AUSTIN AND CENSORSHIP OF COUNTY MEETINGS
tundra replied to DOT's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Any candidate I support, will indeed be vetted. However, it's tough to know what they will "really" do once they are elected. I give you one of David Austin's campaign mailers from 2008. Who's not listening now? And who has his own agenda? -
So what's a better adblocker? I'm using adbloc plus myself right now.

DAVID AUSTIN AND CENSORSHIP OF COUNTY MEETINGS
tundra replied to DOT's topic in Paulding County NEWS
She was the last speaker of the morning, her name is here, on the agenda, Susan Breen. If the video wasn't cut, you would hear the chairman announce the person's name. I do have a problem when he reads the names of the people wishing to speak on agenda items. He reads their addresses as well, that's not necessary and if some crazy fool doesn't like what they have to say, now they know where they live. Yes, this is censorship, plain and simple. Here's the agenda, the minutes will be available after they are approved http://www.paulding.gov/ArchiveCenter/ViewFile/Item/742 -
It's animal trying to think again, just ignore him. lol

Pat and Patti Show Pat and Patti Show 1/28/2015 - Getting too serious
tundra replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Or maybe both? LOL Mike Pope is a good guy, I spoke to him on more than one occasion last year. He was only interested in running, as an independent, because like so many others he was tired of the corruption, nepotism, cronyism along with the lack of openness, integrity and transparency. He was a pretty good post commissioner way back when. I think he decided the candidate in Post 2 that won, stood on the same principles. -
If anyone is interested in seeing the whole video, uncut, unedited with all the citizens speakers, just go here. www.facebook.com/savepauldingco or here morning work session (this is where most of the discussion happens): www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG1alVp_CDk&feature=youtu.be BOC meeting (this is where they vote on everything) www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVcYD0b-CE4&feature=youtu.be

I see two sore losers that have nothing better to do than think they somehow rank up there with SNL. The quality and content of this video is horrible. And to think, not only did I stand with Patti she has been to my house. We have hugged and we have laughed together. Even had a drink or two together. This has little to do with party, it has to do with being double crossed by someone I thought was a friend. I'm saddened she has allowed you to bring her down to your level. Elected officials are one thing, people running for office are also open to criticism, but when you start moc

If it's non-binding and doesn't mean a hill of beans, why did two commissioners vote against it? It's just more proof of these guys doing something most politicians don't. Actually doing what they campaigned on.........you know like listening to their constituents. The people that voted for them. I know, I know we're just peons in the eyes of "royalty" here in Paulding but I'm proud someone is doing what they said they were going to do instead of just saying it to get elected. I'd much rather go to Waffle House with "peons" than to a castle with "royalty".

It's sad that a resolution has to be passed because that "gentleman's agreement" has proven there are a couple of people that think their agenda is more important than openness, honesty, integrity, and transparency. This will, in fact, stop anyone from going to our legislators with their grandiose schemes and pie in the sky dreams. The fact that the Commission Chair and the Post 1 Chair voted against this resolution tells me they just didn't want to have that restriction.

Running to check my PMs, especially those from crossroads. Yikes!!

You know that two million they claim to have invested, well it isn't at the airport. I haven't seen any changes out there, but I see lots of advertising, both in the county and on FB page boosts. Of course they have skin in the game, the supporters have plenty of outside money pouring in. At least the claims of Delta's money means it's from the same state, not some fly by night New York company. LOL We can't know what they've spent money on. They are a private business, not subject to open records requests. They can spend their money on what ever they want and use taxpayer backed bonds t

shhhh, a little secret........you don't get free shipping. It's built in to the price. But if I had to use my gas to go get it, it would still be more than what they build in to their pricing. So I like Prime because of the guaranteed two day shipping, I do order a LOT of stuff from Amazon.

RIP Shirley. You were an integral part of our family and a great sister-in-law. Anyone that ever met you know you had an incredible sense of humor and could make an entire room roar with laughter. You will be missed by many. -

People that don't want to see the truth, won't. Some are living in denial. If you tell a lie long enough, does it become truth?
