  1. Mike Jones lied to Pubby, and no, it's not just about the background checks from October to December 2013, it's about all of them. That interview was quite a farce MJ did with him. Pubby, when will you realize they use you to spread what they want people to hear. You're a smart man, you really should know better. It's pretty scary when your name appears on a "hit list" then you discover background checks have been done by the County Administrator. This is not over, it's just the beginning. Kudos to the Ponytail Patriot for having the courage to stand up to those that tried to
  2. Roy Sparks did not record this and he is not with Protect Paulding, although he supports Protect Paulding. The information on who recorded this is on the Youtube page where you copied it.
  3. I just hope they cover all the costs of the Air Show, there should be no cost to the taxpayers. Then I hope there is really is money left for charity. Based on the last two events, there were no profits.
  4. I'm with you, I don't think they've done anything "illegal", I think they just pissed it away with no idea where some of it actually went. You bet Tabitha does, though. Trying to string it all together when it's spread out all over the place is the biggest problem. But I'm pretty sure some of those open records requests will shed a lot of light on the matter.
  5. How's this for ADI? That is if you even want to bother opening the link. Yea the Feds won't even let them fly charters anymore. http://www.capjournal.com/breaking_news/feds-to-reject-adi-as-airline-for-pierre-or-anywhere/article_566a5898-a40a-11e4-b54e-a3315bc70340.html
  6. That other company that was a prospect, ADI? Filed bankruptcy. Maybe that hangar collapse was a blessing in disguise. BTW, they also just fired the guy that Blake was in cahoots dealings with on that. He bankrupt a 55+ year old company in less than a year. He was the original FBO guy at the airport. Pie in the sky dreams.
  7. The crash truck cost $500,000 all by itself. 1/2 million taxpayer dollars, to service a non existent airport. Let's go buy our newborn a brand new Caddy, after all he's going to drive it one day. Who cares if it comes out of his college fund. Heck, let's buy it before he's born. And the biggest problem I have with PPPs is the private company is not subject to open records requests. I really don't believe they have a business plan, just the power point presentation they showed at the chamber breakfast. That is NOT a business plan, that's a pie in the sky dream. You can't go to th
  8. She like El Zorro, just doesn't want to believe we have back up documentation. All anyone has to do is go to the airport web site and they can see it themselves in black and white..........let's quit arguing with fools, it's hard to tell the difference if you let them engage you. As far as I'm concerned, Tired of BS is the least informed person in Paulding County.
  9. No you're too lazy to look it up yourself. When someone you don't like gives you the information you ask for you come up with another excuse. Google the damn thing and you'll see Blake Swafford released it............you are absolutely crazy, just completely bonkers. It's four freaking pages, you want me to copy and paste them all? The file is from pauldingairport.com Quit acting like you didn't know that.
  10. Here ya go. What kind of economic impact will this have on Paulding County? Current projections estimate that the airport will eventually create 2,000 to 3,000 new jobsand up to $350 million for the local economy. http://pauldingairport.com/sites/all/themes/haiku/documents/PauldingAirportQA_4_30.pdf
  11. I don't appreciate you calling me a liar, I thought you were a bigger man than that.............you certainly have changed a lot in the last year or two.
  12. So how do you spin it? There has been 65 million dollars spent at the airport, there are 2.5 jobs...............you doing common core math or something? That's all that works there, really, cross my heart and hope to die, stick a finger in my eye. Let's do this another way.............you build a house. It costs you a million dollars. You live there by yourself, how many people live in that million dollar house and how much did it cost you?
  13. Well there is 65 million dollars spent at the airport, and there are 2.5 jobs. You're calling me a liar? Really now? How many jobs are at the airport? How much money has been spent, how about you tell us.
  14. It's not the government's job to back private business with taxpayer dollars. IF it's a good business with a well rounded business plan, I can live with tax abatements for milestone's met. The contracts with Propeller have given them the entire farm with ALL the risk on the taxpayer's backs. Have you heard about Propeller's contract at Paine Field in Snohomish County, WA? Do yourself a favor and google it. They aren't giving away the farm and even the citizens there are fighting it. Boeing doesn't want them there. One of the largest MRO businesses in the nation doesn't want them
  15. So this is not about noise, this is not about airplanes or airlines. This is about a failed General Aviation airport that someone, somehow thinks will be successful if it goes commercial. Using made up numbers to convince the public it's a sound business idea is ludicrous. You see when those people moved to Paulding in the 2000s, some of them are actually professionals. Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, System Analysts, you know people that don't believe everything revolves around the "royalty" in Paulding County. They're smart enough to figure out a business plan is needed for a business to be
  16. I have no control what my ancestors did or didn't do. I will tell you, I have a deep sadness for the persecution of blacks in America, legal immigrants in America, Jews in Germany, Christians in Muslim areas of the Mid-East, poor people during Ceasar's reign...............people have been persecuted for years. But I didn't do it. My momma didn't do it and my kids don't. Instead of moaning about it and lying down to let the government tell you how much you deserve from them because of it, get a job, take care of your wife and kids, realize the American dream exists for everyone. Victi
  17. Don't the the door hit ya on the way out. I'm not going anywhere. I've lived here 31 years and have met some of the best people on Earth. I'm not going to let a few dozen gun-ho elitists run me out. It's not just the airport that's the problem, it's the way things have been going down hill for years. No planning, no thought about the effect anything will have on the taxpayers. Promises of jobs, costing millions of dollars to create has NOT come to fruition with the airport or the movie studio. Pie in the sky dreams with no business plans. If it doesn't work, we'll sell it. Tha
  18. Yes, Signal Mountain became Smoke Signal Mountain. Glad no one was hurt and no homes were harmed.
  19. Thinking that first sentence is deliberate. No town hall meetings, no way for the public to gather information, you have to baby sit meetings with officials to find out what's really going on. I don't have time and God knows I have better things to do, but my eyes have been opened wide. I attend every meeting I possibly can, even with my father undergoing Chemo and Radiation and me being the sole caregiver. Apathy is indeed a vote.
  20. Just for the record, I won't shut up.............through hollering, intimidation, background checks, smear campaigns, bullying. Nope you can't shut me, and several thousand others, down. We will continue to stand up, speak out and share the facts. This is a power grab and a gross misrepresentation of the people, especially those in Post 2. We're still waiting for a business plan, the people that are financing this debacle should have had it before we were told there was nothing we could do about it. Please stick to real facts, not made up ones, not averages between airports that ar
  21. So you're saying money generated at the airport flows out to 143 jobs? I don't think so, maybe during the building process but the airport has been completed for 6 1/2 years. There are two full time positions, one part time position, and maybe a dozen planes there.
  22. So much misinformation circling around this airport. So many misquoted "facts". They are not facts at all. Jim & Nicks is not the largest employer in Paulding County, neither is WalMart or Home Depot. Welstar employs over 580 at it's Paulding location, Metromont is over 200, the school system employs over 3300, Dallas Mill Works 65+..........Kerstin Liberty spells it out well at the BOC meeting, starting at the 4:45 minute mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M-6UhZhOuI#t=597 Now let's talk about the DOT report that says the airport has 143 employees? Where did they get t
  23. 150,000 residents does not mean there are that many eligible to vote. That number includes children.
