  1. So tell me, are you selling fireworks again this year? Bottom line, Randy Cone is not a very happy person. He spends his time backtracking and harassing those that don't agree with him. This is NOT my first encounter with him.
  2. Bottom line, I think Randy Cone is working harder to keep Steve from being elected than he is supporting Teresa. I don't know what his problem with Steve is, but it's my gut feeling eastraidermom and Randy Cone are closely related. Outsourcing is not the answer if the schools are dirty and unkempt. I know at least one other school board member voted against outsourcing, she said so at the debates. I'm also checking on that $50,000 contribution to the Boy Scouts, was that BSA National or was that here in Atlanta? See there are a lot of people familiar with what's going on with the booste
  3. My heart is breaking for Mayor Teresa, this was so sudden and unexpected. Please pray for them, their family, and the City of Hiram. RIP Dickie
  4. Concerned Paulding Resident? Or Toxic? Or some other somebody posting crazy stuff? LOL
  5. Wonder why Howard got a $2500 check from the Speaker of the House? Is it so he will continue to do the bidding of the establishment instead of what's best for Paulding County? Wonder why he felt it necessary to confront a County Commissioner about the commercialization of the airport? Howard, have you been listening to the voters? You know that commissioner ran on an anti-commercialization plan, right? You know that's why he won and won big, right? Seriously, Howard should have retired long ago, we need new blood at the Capital.
  6. A huge shout out for Roger Leggett who is running for Commission Chairman. It would be awesome to have a man like this running things around here, a real servant's heart. Chad's Brackett has been a blessing for so many families, including mine.
  7. More eating places, do we have any? Phat Phils is over in Harralson County, I guess it's the closest besides Rockmart or Villa Rica.
  8. The gals that run it are from Chicago...........it's not bad, all I've had is the Italian Beef, you can tell them not to dip it but why? Ha! I hope they make it, the location is horrible. Really, really nice folks running the joint.
  9. Are you freaking kidding me? You don't know her at all, do you? Hang tight, you're in for the ride of your life.
  10. Yea, that was probably you, trying to make others look bad...............WTH
  11. You have to have the CDL testing facility at the DMV, the state requires it............please make it STOP!! People, check your facts..............
  12. Then it was a freaking lie. Whitey did not give her a $1000 donation. Her campaign disclosure only lists 5 or 6 donors, the largest contributor is $300.00............... and it is not Whitey. Do you ever check your sources? Or do you just believe those that are proven liars. This is the biggest bunch of BS ever!! 13. Are you kidding me? Show me the link..............unless you're lying. I'm looking at her campaign disclosure and this is an absolute fabrication!!
  14. Why are you being deceiving? Those clearly were not complaints from Commissioners Crowe, Collett, and Pownall. They were an acknowledgement to the citizens, thanking them for an email.........why didn't they print all the complaint forms? SMH
  15. Really? What exactly do you know about Kerstin? Her degree? Her background? Where she even grew up? What college she graduated from? What her field of expertise is? Of course you don't. She's as qualified to run for the state house as you were to run for a post commissioner seat. All you can do is find issues to keep someone that has not done a darn thing for Paulding County in years.
  16. Yikes, you mean they are not anti-business and anti-growth? Well to hear some tell it, they are against everything...........no one bothers to look at the details. Their made up stories are so much more fun.
  17. I read this stuff and I laugh and I laugh. Delta is the strongest economic engine in the state and our PCAA wants to go head to head with them. Maxwell, too. ~~giggle~~
  18. And in the mean time the voters are going to the polls, one election at a time. Sending a clear message they don't want a commercial airport. The seat Carmichael walked away from was replaced by a candidate that opposes commercial service at our airport, with a record voter turn out. The results were 2-1 in favor of Commissioner Davis. Keep in mind the airport was not his only issue, but was an important one. We have one candidate that supports commercialization, three are opposed for Commission Chair. Denial is not a river in Egypt.
  19. Memorial service today at 11:00 New Hope Church.
  20. Nah, we aren't going anywhere. It's okay to support other anti-commercial candidates. I will not be drawn in to saying bad things about other anti-commercial candidates, though that's just me. Everyone evolves, things and circumstances change. Heck some of the anti-commercial group supported David Austin, TWICE! We ALL can make mistakes and still be forgiving. The application for the part 139 was done by a county employee with no vote by the BOC, that's the crux of this whole dispute. Imagine the precedents this will set if the courts rule county employees can use such actions w
  21. Roger did not second a vote to buy property for an airport. Roger seconded a vote to have it put on the ballot for the people to decide. There have been people pushing for an airport in Paulding County for years. He thought the people should decide. Roger only served two years with Jerry Shearin, he was left at the end of 2001, Jerry was first elected in 2000. Roger was long gone before they decided to build the airport in spite of the vote he required be put on the ballot. Roger was a deputy, a volunteer fireman and has stayed on the Public Safety board for years. He has over 30 ye
  22. I don't know what your problem is, that young man has more experience in campaigns than most of the people running for office today. He's been campaigning since he was 16. But of course you really don't know as much as you think you do. You need to go back and see why the county administrator's job was eliminated, it's on video.
  23. Yes, he was. In fact I was the one that told you that, you know I would never lie to you. I ate lunch at the same table with Jerry at a meeting last week. Doesn't mean a thing. Jerry is NOT Roger's campaign manager. In fact, I know his campaign manager very well. He's young, smart, and a political science major at University of West Georgia. He's really thinking about going to law school.
  24. I can assure you Jerry S'hearin is NOT Roger's campaign manager.
