Yellow pond slider. Have 3 big ones and 2 little ones living in our pond. They are vegetarian and do not eat the fish, but the little ones come to the dock and eat fish food when we throw it out. I can't get close to the big ones. They bask on a log that is in the water during the day.

So now we know why we have no ammo. Hope they make the Homeland Security people supply this. After all they have taken most of our ammo now .http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/14/world/meast/syria-civil-war/

Sales of George Orwell’s ’1984′ up 69 percent on Amazon Looks like 1984 is here. I think it is time the people woke up to what is happening in this country. I wish Edward Snowden the best and hope he can stay hid. I wouldn't bet on it though as they can't have a trial. They will say it is going to let out too many secrets if he goes to trial.

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden: 'I do not expect to see home again' Anyone want to take bets on how long he lives? He will not make it very long until they take him out.

Seems as though they are monitoring everything.U.S. mining data from 9 leading Internet firms Now Pubby tell me you still think that we should all give up our guns and not be afraid that the govt is taking over. -
I could understand if they did close. I haven't been in there in several years because of the prices compared to other places. Most of the time I just use Amazon as it is cheaper and I don't have to fight the Hiram traffic. As for computer parts there are much cheaper places either Newegg online or Microcenter in Marietta.

Georgia State Park Cabins, And Bibles In The Drawer's
billh replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
There is such a thing as freedom from religion. Check out their web site at http://ffrf.org/. I believe no one should be told what religion they should chose, but if you listen to any religious group they will tell you that theirs is the only religion and if you don't believe you will go to their hell. -

It's hurting some dam christian that want's to force his crap on you. I agree it's not hurting anyone, but put any of the above in the drawer and some religious person will force a lawsuit to have it removed. -

http://news.yahoo.com/atheists-put-books-next-bibles-ga-parks-171824014.html If you can have one you should be able to have the other. -
Probably not worth the cost. It is going to be a rubber part called a idler, or a rubber belt. Depending on the model it may be easy to fix, and may not. I used to work on them, but won't even fix my own now. I use a stand alone dvd recorder, and a separate vcr. I found the dual units don't hold up. I see good vcr's at goodwill for at the most $20.

Don't buy a belkin. They are the worst of everything. Linksys used to be good, but they sold out to cisco and are not as good. I use a older linksys and have not had problems, but am using it only as a wifi. My router is a tplink (china) and it is only getting one port used to feed the 24 port switch.

The component system with a fiber input for the digital audio is best. Most of the local tv stations are now using 5.1. If I watch the front of the receiver it will switch from stereo to 5.1 depending on the program. The old shows on the dot channels (2.1 etc) are not in 5.1, but most new shows are. There are so many older 5.1 receivers out there at goodwill and places that it is easy to find one. Make sure it is 5.1 and has a fiber input on the back. I think the best are the Denon.

The best way is a 5.1 or 7.1 system with big speakers. You don't know what you are missing if you just listen to the 2 front speakers.

Guess who isn't working in her yard any more this year
billh replied to lucky64's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It is a common rat snake. I have one that has built a nest under a old bucket in my yard. I leave him alone. He is a good snake and does kill bad snakes. We had one living under something at the other house years ago until he tried to cross the road, and our redneck neighbors at the time ran over it and backed up and ran over it again and again. -
Maybe there was a reason. The last time I followed someone and tried to get them to pull over it was because they just left the gas station and left the cap on top of the car. I saw where it fell off. They did roll down their window and I told them where it was. People aren't always after you.

McAfee is a virus or at least as bad. It is like Norton you must download a program to remove it. I just fixed one for a friend and after we removed mcafee we used avg and found three virus's. Took several hours to get it cleaned up. The last thing I ran was spy bot search and destroy and it found several more things. Computer speed-ed up and no longer had problems.

Read the mouse that roared. Or at least read about the book on Wikipedia.

Been going to Dallas tire for some time now and highly recommend them for tires and alignment.

religion at work again. We need to do away with religion which is setting this country back to the dark ages.
-
It's time to tax churches as they are now trying to control the government. We are letting them control our lives. The only difference between Muslims and Christians is the Muslim's force their way on you with guns and bombs and the Christians do it with laws. Either way it is religion that is causing the problem for all of us.

Please go vote out this outdated law. Makes the county look backwards. Only was for the religious nuts anyway.
-
I voted my yes several days ago! Was a stupid law to begin with. Must have been a religious nut who started it. I don't plan on buying booze on sunday, but think this just shows how backward we are.

The problem you are going to have is finding a pc with windows 7. Microsoft pulled all retail copies of 7 off the shelf's so they could force 8 on to people. If you want a pc then I would look on e-bay for a good used one with windows 7. Don't buy anything with vista or 8. He's right all the pc's are made in China and don't hold up. I am finding even the HP's have problems. The hard drives are failing within days of the warranty ending. They have had lots of problems with the motherboards going bad also.
