If you gave a damn about the county you wouldn't care about who is paying to stop this crap. I don't care if god payed for it as long as we can stop the a holes that are using county tax $ to screw over the people in the county. I wouldn't care if it breaks the county or if some people go to jail over the things they will find when this gets to going good. It has to be stopped, and the AA and IBA have to go away or at least be held accountable for their actions. I think the money should come out of the Austins pockets.

The same thing is happening with local stations and the cable or dish company's. It is called greed. It is about time that the local stations realize that they may go away if they are not either on the net or on local cable. I for one mainly use the net as in HULU and don't view much local as it is about 50% commercials. Also there just isn't much on local (network) tv that is worth watching.

In other words a can of worms has been opened because of the way they did the airport, and it's not going to close till it is empty. Even if it takes pulling all the contract info on all the projects that shouldn't have been done by the AA and the IBA. It's happening now, and it is going to cause trouble for some one. An airport is not the way! f the former commissioners had not pushed the housing industry so they could sell supply's etc maybe we could have had more industry other then builders. Maybe we should use the money they want to spend on a airport no one wants to give tax incentives to some industrial companies. We need a Lowes building supply to compete with home depot, we need a real hardware store. I have to go to Douglasville or Rockmart just to find anything from a hardware store.

If you can see the mess this is causing, and the mess we will have with the traffic, the noise, the pollution, the smell of jet fuel the devalued houses, the wildlife that are going to be leaving the wildlife management area that this is in, and all the other problems. You need to look at tomorrow or the next few years and how we could spend this money to get real jobs, not just cause everyone a problem

Since your good buddy David is so good at payback. Maybe it is payback for him now. After talking to several people in different stores today I still did not fine one that was in favor. As a matter of fact I got at least 5 more to sign the petition. I have made it a point to ask as many people as I can when I am out. I still haven't found one that is in favor.

It is a bedroom community because former commissioners sold building supplies, and had friends in the construction business. Now it will be a airport community as the commissioners have friends in the airport.

The airport may have been here, but not when most people bought their house, and not when the school was built. It was only supposed to be a small general airport also. I can live with the airport as it is now, but you wait and see if it gets to be a commercial airport even you may not like the traffic, the devalued house prices, the noise, and the pollution.

I don't object to the airport as it is now, but you don't even know what kind of mess the expansion and commercial flights are going to cause. I will take a note pad next time and check off the ones that want it if I find one. The airport is not a done deal when the commissioners are voted out or are found out it will be stopped.

I bet they don't know the whole story. Tell them about the traffic that it will cause and the amount of noise involved, and the fact that NO there won't be any jobs for anyone from the county except for the people with the AA.

Not 5 or 6 folks! I haven't found one person out in the county that wants the airport. NOT ONE!
