  1. Got word from family. This is just a travesty. We are losing Toooo many of our kids. Please pray for these families...
  2. Trying to gain information about what happened last night. Rumor mill says there were four teens in vehicle near Bremen Tboned by a Ga State Patrol officer. The two girls passed away, boys are hospitalized they say. Don't want to bother the family at this time for details. Just totally devastated as I've known this young lady since she was tiny. Anyone hear anything last night at all?

The incident forced Hiram High School into lock down for a short time as a result. The suspect, 41-year-old Rockwell Thelmon Sarrabo is accused of shooting his wife in the head at the couple's home on the 200 block of Baywood Way in Hiram. Sarrabo then allegedly called his girlfriend and told her what he had done. The incident started around 1:40 p.m. after a woman, believed to be Sarrabo's girlfriend, contacted Paulding County 911 and told them her boyfriend had just killed his wife and was going to kill himself. When officers arrived at the home, they entered and found the victim dead from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Nicole Thomas. The woman told dispatchers that the man was headed to Sandtown Park in Fulton County. The victim's name has not been released, pending notification of family members. Police are actively searching for Sarrabo in Fulton County. They say he is considered armed and dangerous. CBS46 will continue to follow this story and will provide updates as new information is learned. Copyright 2015 WGCL_TV (Meredith Corporation). All rights reserved. Comments
  4. Only because I'm in the middle of doing this right now and all of the requirement are fresh in my head... The best I can recall, if you want to sign them over to someone, it has to be someone that is listed as a second conservator/guardian; otherwise I think it has to going through the probate court. I would definately call them and ask. Hope this helps. Good luck
  5. Was on Nebo right after incident happened. Had to reroute back to Wall road to cut around to Garmon.. Ambulance at house on Garmon backed up to embankment where silver/grey car rested after what appeared having rolled down it. They were trying to extracate when I passed. Got up to Garmon and saw a white truck to the right still on the road. Apparent head on collision at an area of road that appeared to me to be fairly straight away. Looked like maybe driver could have been distracted. Lifeflight loaded what looked to be a male subject, assumably from the silver car. I pray all involved are okay... P.S. To all of our new teen drivers going back to school. Please be careful. Don't text and drive, and watch your speed on our curvy little country roads. We want you to arrive alive... Remember you are still your Mom and Dad's baby...
