  1. Sorry this happened to you. Had that happen to me a few years ago. (different neighborhood) Makes you wonder why people do the things they do.
  2. Safety in numbers? Birds of a feather flock together? Misery loves company?

  5. I just think it's fascinating! Don't you?? Evolution is happening right now!
  6. Snowing a little here on Winndale Rd.
  7. Funny you say that. My son was colicky and cried and cried and cried the first few months of his life. I had a small handheld recorder and recorded the sound of the vacuum cleaner. I'd put it by his bed and it worked like a charm! Right to sleep every time! My pediatrician said he was gonna recommend that to all his parents with colicky babies!
  8. Very same advice I'm following while kennel training a puppy!
  9. Be sure to get puff pastry dough not filo dough. Filo isn't as lite and flaky as puff pastry.

  12. Tru dat. I'm just a Kroger girl.
  13. If I had my choice, I'd go to the disco Kroger in Buckhead, the Edgwood Kroger on Moreland Ave. N. or the Ansley Mall Kroger in midtown. They have huge cheese shops with a much larger variety than what you find out here. Any Kroger out here should carry Delice De France Brie or Supreme Brie this time of year. Both are double creme bries. (you may not be able to find it year round out here) These would be my two favorites. 14. I also like to do a similar recipe using herb brie with sauteed mushrooms and onion on top. Wrapped in the puff pastry and baked just like the recipe above. A good double creme brie will have no ammonia smell.
  15. Sounds like ya'll need some nighttime sniffling sneezing coughing aching stuffy head fever so you can rest medicine.
  16. Yeah, I thought the same thing when I took the puppy out this morning! Felt warmer!
  17. I saw a documentary once, where it was theorized that this genetic mutation was a result of survivors of the black plague. It was fascinating to think that this could be evolution in humans happening right now!
  18. Well....I'm not the only one that heard it, so I'm not COMPLETELY crazy. Just partially crazy......
  19. You can do it either way. The rind is edible, but some people do not prefer the taste of the rind. Of course, if you decide to remove the rind, good luck The brie on the inside is very creamy, like thick butter, (unless you have unripened brie, which will be hard and not have the great flavor you want) and you will probably have a hard time cutting it off. Good brie should be firm, while the center should be springy but not watery. And should appear slightly bulging within the rind. Side note: If your brie smells like ammonia, it's gone bad. If you have anymore questions
  20. Mayhap it was Coco poots! It was loud! Papi and I both said, "what the hell was that?!?"
  21. This house full of scratching, burping, and farting.....
  22. Well we aren't far from Sub station rd. Mayhap it was a transformer, but I would think we would have lost power.
