Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm a "real book" lover, so I don't think I would use it for reading. Course I might change my mind, never can tell. I'm more looking for something to use while out and about and away from the laptop. Doc offices, hospitals, in the car (not driving), on vacation, etc....... I just don't know a lot about the iPad so I was wondering what the are the differences between it and a netbook.

Good advice. Got some Christmas money and I'm trying to decide what I want. I keep asking myself how much would I REALLY use a netbook and/or iPad. Would it be worth the expense?? IDK. Mayhap I just need to hop on up to the Best Buys and see what I think!

If your doing something you wouldn't do in front of your spouse, then you probably shouldn't be doing it at all.

Do you need a "service" to use the iPad? I've never used one, never seen one, and always got the impression it was kinda like the kindle meets a netbook. I thought as long as your somewhere you can pick up wifi, your good to go. Am I wrong?? Educate me please! Why is iPad better than just getting a netbook?? TIA.

Yep. I remember that one. But it didn't last long or stick. I'm loving the snow! Made for a beautiful Christmas! Snowing again here now. Probably won't last long.

It's 6 o'clock. In one hour your local Kroger store will be closing until 7am Sunday morning. Did anyone go to the grocery store this evening?? How bad were the lines?? How wiped out were all the shelves of product?? Did you have to fight a crowd and wait a long time to check out??? Tell me your horror stories!!!! (I just want sit back and gloat that for the first time in 22 years I wasn't working in a grocery store on Christmas Eve! ) .
