Food banks, homeless shelters, and food ministries should hire these people to manage their food inventories. These folks could still get their "high" of saving so much AND be a help to the community. I get the couponing/ building up stock pile thing. My sister did it for a while and saved her family a ton of money on groceries. But at some point don't you have to just STOP. I mean....how much toilet paper, deodorant, and pasta do you need?? IF it's true the store is closing, they will. I wouldn't put much stock in that. Kroger WILL NOT announce a closing until the last possible moment. Edited to add: I spoke with a couple of my contacts. There has been no announcement on this store closing. But like I said above, they WILL NOT announce it until the last possible moment. When a store closes, there are union issues to address and each individual employee is spoken with on their options to relocate to other stores. It is a complicated and sensitive process for all involved. I've personally dealt with two closing

I like the Taco Bell app on Papi's phone. The graphics look kind of like a slot machine. You put in how much change you have in your car and it rolls the tumblers of the slot machine and tells you what you have enough to buy at Taco Bell AND how much change you'd get back.
