Here's my advice and it probably isn't going to be popular but it's the truth: When shopping, the locals WILL try to sell you something for WAY MORE than it's really worth or what's a fair price. DO NOT be afraid to haggle over the price of something and DO NOT be afraid to simply walk away. It's AMAZING how much lower the price gets when you suddenly walk off. And be prepared to be accosted by the natives trying to sell you something everywhere you turn. It's better now than it used to be, but you will still get approached constantly. Just say no thanks and KEEP WALKING!

DANG!! Me and Papi gotta check this place out! I agree the Sundial is wonderful and romantic. We spent our wedding night at the Peachtree and went up to the sundial for drinks. The next day we hopped a flight to Miami for a night and off on our cruise! It was wonderful!

Cruise ships have on board laundromats. I think your son will be fine, but as a mother who has gone on out of town trips before when mine were little, your probably going to worry yourself silly the whole time your gone. Unless of course his Dad is great and responsible and you know your son's in good hands. This was not a luxury I had at the time.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I just don't think it's worth $830 for the online course and $80 in books if this is not something she needs for her long term career. Is this the normal cost for the CDA course? She may just have to find another part time job when she's home. I hate it to come to that cause she loves the daycare and working with the little ones and they've been so great about letting her come back on breaks and over the summer.
