I did this same thing with my son. I actually took a small tape recorder and set it up in the bathroom with the vacuum cleaner running and recorded both sides of that tape with nothing but the sound of the vacuum running. Every time my son would get crying and I couldn't do anything to hush him, I turned on that small tape recorder next to him, and he was out like a light. My pediatrician was so impressed he said he was going to tell all the mom's with colicky babies to try this!

We in the household have certainly become more price conscience of late. Particularly with Papi having taken 3 pay cuts over the last 3 years and me being out of work. (although I'm starting back to work soon! } Anywho........I've noticed at the grocery store how all the 10/ $10 items, anything on sale, or anything that has a coupon out on it, are typically sold out or very very few left. I wonder if I'm just more aware of it, or are people generally shopping more frugally? What say you? .
