  2. Mistake admitted. I had the day wrong. Yep.. I had the day wrong. Thanks RhondaW for correcting me. I just never understood why it was okay for the Jewish worker's to have EVERY Saturday off, but a devote Christian would have never been allowed EVERY Sunday off. I'm not a church goer so it was no sweat off my back, just seemed like a double standard.

While we are at it, let's give all the retail employees off: Christmas Eve Christmas Day New Year's Day Valentine's Day St. Patrick's Day Mother's Day Father's Day July 4th Labor Day Halloween And let's not forget Veteren's Day! All those that are complaining about the black friday shoppers, let's see how that works out for you over 4th of July weekend when you need another pack of hotdogs or buns and the grocery store is closed.   7. I did 22 years in retail. Working holidays sucks, but it's part of the gig. You know that going in. I thought it was "fun" when I was young, the early hours, long days, busy as all get out, but the older I got, the more I didn't want to work weekends and holidays, but I did it. Grumbled about it, but I did it. Then when my body gave out on me I got out. Technically, I still work retail as I'm contracted with a major drug store retailer, but now I work for myself. So I get to choose what I'm working. I'll be manning the phones friday and doing live chats for those that are shop
  8. Cleaning bathrooms. Dusting every inch of the house. Vaccum. Sweep/ Mop. Change cat box. Wash hands. Make green bean and corn casserole. Up early tomorrow to start the turkey and mac and cheese and other stuff like that there.
  9. Not here. Opened the windows and the french doors going out to the screen porch to get some air flow.

  14. I love that Tabby! That you just make it from memory! I make my Grandmother's roladins from memory. It's the best way! And isn't it wonder that everyone is having such great meals with family! What a blessing!
  15. Really wish we had a recipe forum............. Here's one of my favs. It may be a little unconventional, but my girls LOVE it! Doggie Ice Cream 1- 32 oz container of plain yogurt 1- banana 1 tablespoon (more or less) of peanut butter 1 tablespoon (more or less) of honey 1 muffin pan 12-16 ever crucial doggie biscuits Yeilds: 12- 16 ice creams depending on how you pour it up. Blend together, pour into muffin tin that has the ever crucial dog biscuit in the bottom of each muffin spot. Freeze well. Then I pop them out and keep them in the freezer. The yogur
