Somebody's in TROUBLE!!

Had lunch there today. I had the shrimp po'boy with a side of red beans and rice. Papi had the crawfish po'boy with a side of red beans and rice. IT WAS AWESOME!!!

She never showed up in Ohio and no more messages from her.

I beginning to think she ran.

I remember "grunting" worms to get some to go fishing. We'd stick a stick in the ground and rub a brick across the top. The sound would make the worms come up out the ground. Papa said the worms thought it was raining so they come up to have a look. Then we'd go to the fishing hole and "drown some worms" as he called it.

We did this with me Grandma. I remember sitting on the couch with a bowl of peas in my lap to shell and watching Grandma's "stories". She would put up all kinds of vegetables and fruits. And in the heart of a sweltering south Georgia summer, we'd make ice cream and toss in some of the peaches Grandma had put up. Nothing like homemade peach ice cream!

My grandma would say that sickness is a sign of a healthy pregnancy and baby. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
