  1. I think we going back to Cajun's Cooking in Hiram.
  2. Maybe he had a savings built up, or family that's helping him re establish himself. I'd ask the question.
  3. Papa needs to step up his game. We had it the other night for the first time in a LONG while. Meh......not so much. Pizza Hut WAY better. They have definitely stepped it up.
  4. Marijuana procession, done his time, and willing to pay 6 mths in advance? Yep. I'd rent to him. If it was aggravated battery, assault with a deadly weapon, murder, rape or some other violent crime........No.
  5. I've been taking it every morning since this thread started back in August of last year. One heaping tablespoon mixed in with 2 tablespoons orange powdered fiber mixed in an 8oz glass of water. I feel no different than before. Osteoarthritis the same. I suppose you could make the argument it's keeping it from getting worse, but I'll let y'all debate that. As I've said before, it does "keep the pipes clean" but that could just as easily be the daily fiber. I've stopped taking it this week, and I don't know that I will start back on it.
  6. Agreed. Work life "balance" is a myth. Sometime you need to spend more time with your family and sometimes you have to hump it at work. And sometimes you combine the two. Many many times when my daughter was young, she went to work with me on a Saturday or Sunday. Or my son rode in the car with me to make deliveries. (Kroger did that sort of thing back in the day) You do what you have to when you have to and you walk away to be with family when needed or you want some time with them.
  7. There is a difference between sexual orientation and gender identification. Which sex you are attracted to = sexual orientation Which sex you identify yourself to be = gender identification .
  8. Winndale @ Cochran Ridge. No issues. I'm with ATT uverse.
  9. My little heater sitting here by my desk. Kind of chilly sitting here by the windows. BRRR!
  10. How very sad and I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I will never understand why it's so hard to just let people be who they are and accept them as such. If my daughter were gay, I would still love her and support her till the day I die. I'm so happy you have found peace and love in your life. So sad your story is not unique. How I wish it was.
  11. stouffers! Nothing comes closer to home!
  12. Call your bank and dispute the second charge.
  13. And Valium for you for the first time he's on his own! Never worried about mine so much until that moment.
  14. Big Brother is watching. And has been for awhile.
  15. What do you think is happening every time you use a loyalty card from any store? They are tracking your purchases. It works to your advantage that they send you coupons for things you buy and things you might buy and they also gear the store to the shopping patterns of the customers shopping that store.
  16. I agree with all the advice above. I'd just like to add, if you are taking this much time off weekly and it's always "family business", and he knows you are struggling financially, I bet your boss already suspects what you are really up to. As a former boss, that's what I'd think. I wouldn't have held it against you, I'd understand the situation, but then, I'm not your boss.
  17. The National Anthem. Gets me every time. Seriously, it does.
  18. Or wonder why they grow up to be unruly teens they can't control.
  19. There'll be sad songs. To make you cry. Love songs always do. Sad songs say so much. And I guess that's why they call it the blues.
