GSP offered free retest within 30 days if you did not pass. They also offer an advanced riding class for folks who ride, but want to increase their skills, ride passengers, or just refresh their skills. I liked the fact that you could test on their bikes, or your own. The provided the little bikes and they were much easier to manuver on those courses. The only problem I had with the little bikes was my normal riding boots have a thick toe, and did not fit on the smaller controls well. I wore differant boots the next day and was fine.

I took my 3 day course at North Metro Tech in Acworth. It is given by The Georgia State Patrol. It can be found on their website. The classes are intense and very educational. I highly recommend them. Good luck and safe riding. You will have to make an appoinment, I belive if you go for the riding test at DMV. I did a lot of practicing in a new subdivision that had not been built in yet. Parking lots of closed businesses are good too, as you can do the figure 8's and cone dodging in them.

If they shoot directly at you and you can prove it, it will take about 2 years to get them into court, which takes several days. Then if they are found quilty, the punishment is nothing. You will have wasted your time and money to procecute them. So I now know from personal experiance----do what the LEOs told me to do. PROTECT YOURSELF!

If I ever get to a point where I can, I will go stand at the cash registers at grocerery stores, and watch for someone that is choosing which very needed groceries have to be put back on the shelves, because they do not have enough money to buy what they need. I still cry when I think about choosing between the foods on my list. Two children to feed.
