this is a great way to fix the lack of job creation in this country. you incarcerate large amounts of people, forcing new prisons to be built. it removes the convicted people from the unemployment numbers, and causes construction jobs to be filled temperarily. then you get to hire marginally employable people to act as staff, reducing the unemployed. if unemployment numbers rise, repeat the cycle with more stupid laws. job growth, republican style
