  1. I voted for Gregory. He seems to be the only candidate that is staying out of all the crap and just running on what he believes and thinks.

I know he is not part of the long 20-30 year establishment in Paulding but damn that is what we need. Seems to handle himself very well with those long timers at the round table forum and at times seemed to be leading with ideas that we have not even heard discussed before.

Just my humble opinion which I understand does not mean much, LOL.

www.gregory2010.com since everyone elses websites are being listed. HAHA.

    Seems like a good guy.

  2. From where I see it Barnett is the top vote getter with Crowe running second, And Anavitarte third which may cause a runoff.

Crowe has been losing ground latetly because of his refusal's to debate the issues with the other candidates, along with the rumor that Jerry hired him as a county worker, And that he may be in Jerry's pocket And has come to be known as the sign man due to the zillion signs in all areas of the county, Jason just wrote off the rural part of post 4 with the double standard flyers he mailed out,Plus his ties with GAELO has hurt his campaign in the seven hills area.

    What is GAELO?

  3. Nope, from all the information that I have seen there is no proposed millage rate increase from either the school board or the County commissioners. This is certainly a breath of fresh air, you should see a significant decrease in your taxes this year based on the reevaluation you have posted as will many other citizens

    Unless SPLOST is rejected.

  4. Do we know what Post Ms. Doe lives in?

I wonder if this is the candidates she wants help in gathering information. Maybe the questions relate to DA, or statewide races?

I know in the Karen Handel thread a lot of folks seem to lean towards her, and as far from Oxendine as they can get.

Not sure if Jane Doe is in Senator Heath's district or not.

I know an independent - but conservative - group that offered voter guidance. If Jane is interested, PM for more info.

Is there a particular problem with Oxendine?

  5. Why does Jason Anavitarte use the age old tactic of double standards in his campaign.

In, a most recent political mail out Jason Anavitarte used two separate flyers and two different messages for the voters in post 4. One for the Cedarcrest area and one for the more rural Burnt Hickory, Yorkville, Union, Hulsey town, Braswell, New Hope, Dallas And Beulah areas. WHY!!!

Are the voters in those rural areas not entitled to just as much representation as those in the Cedarcrest area?

Mr. Anavitarte just so you know, We are entitled to better roads, Schools, Libraries, Fire stations etc. And we have also been ignored for the past ten years

You State in the flyer "For years, County Government has ignored the needs of the Cedarcrest area"

Mr. Anavitarte have you visited the rural areas of Post 4 that you are running for? Did you see a lot of divided roads, new schools, new fire stations, signaled intersections, or other major upgrades to those communities that were implemented by the previous Post 4 Commissioner, And the Jerry Shearin administration?

Will you please come on P.Com and explain what you mean By the Cedarcrest area being ignored?

Mr. Anavitarte I think you sent the wrong flyer to the rural part of post 4. we are the part of post 4 that has been ignored. Sure we got a new airport that we were opposed to, but, what else have we got?

Mr. Anavitarte anyone that reads p.com are aware of your liberal social votes taken while serving on the Doraville City Council, And are also aware that you were very cozy with GALEO, In fact was an elected official of the organization that promotes amnesty for illegal immigrants.

I hope all of the citizens of post 4 are onto your double standard type of campaigning and solidly reject you this coming Tuesday And elect a candidate that will represent all of the citizens of post 4

David Barnett has my support because he cares about all of the citizens in post 4

so what did the other flyer say?

  6. I'm always the last to know.

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. -- A Paulding County park earned a reputation as a hot spot for public sex until a recent crackdown, said a representative for the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they started watching Mount Tabor Park in April after receiving information about illegal activity in the area.

Paulding County deputies made five arrests to date, but said several others avoided arrests when they witnessed deputies taking suspects into custody at the park. Deputies said they had several other illicit encounters but those cases did not reach the level of an arrest.

  7. July 18, 2010/ Paulding County, GA - Darwin Carter, Republican candidate for Georgia Agricultural Commissioner released a statement for Paulding County voters that the Georgia Ethics Commission has no ethics.

“I read with interest this evening a story in the Atlanta Journal Constitution that reported on ethics violations at the state's Ethics Commission. It seems that the two attorneys working there were moonlighting on the side to feather their own nest; using state equipment, state computers, and abusing sick leave time. The story details how two corrupt attorneys have been running our state's Ethics Commission.
