They did call the detective handling the theft of the truck. I just thought everyone should know incase they show up at your door too.

So my grandmother called me and said that this afternoon a young man came to her door with some dish detergent and a pack of toilet paper. He said he wasnt selling anything but just advertising for a new store that was opening in the Hiram Walmart shopping center. She said he had dark hair, clean cut and was about 18 or so. He was wanting to come in the house. She really didnt open the door and told him she didnt have time. She called and he tried the same thing at a couple of other houses and they told him to go away. I went threw the shopping center tonite and no new store, what a suprise. T

I was coming home tonite and saw 2 cops pulled off in 2 different driveways and they were out walking around with flashlights around a house. I noticed the lights from my grandmothers house about 45 min earlier. It was about 12:30 tonite when I saw them.

You are not supposed to use cast iron on it unless it has the enamel coating on it. My grandmother has one. HATES it. If you let anything boil over its a nightmare to get off. She bought a cleaning kit and it gives you a razor blade to scrap the gunk off. I have a friend that works at Home Depot and if you use cast iron on some of them it voids the warrenty. My grandmother is getting ready to go back to the old regular eyes on a new cooktop. I also know people who have cracked and chipped and scratched theirs.

My grandparents have lived in this subdivision for over 25 yrs and I dont know of anything like this happening before. I doubt we will get the truck back. I just really want them to catch who did this more than anything now.

About 3:30 this morning my grandfather gray 1986 Silverado was stolen out of their driveway. They live on Westminster Way right off 61 just outside the city limits of Dallas. They said there was also one stolen on Old Cartersville Rd. This isnt an old beat up truck. Has a new paint job. Its charcol gray with with letter tires and rally wheels and has a line x bed liner. It has a retired airforce tag and the number is XF6020. If you see it call the sheriffs dept. He has had it sence it was new and wants it back. This inst the truck but it looks just like this one. We have had comcast for years and never had any problems. I have a friend that works for AT&T and he says Uverse is a joke. We have had Dish and Direct at work and they go out everytime the wind blows.

Anyone Know what was going on in dallas around 6 near the methodist church and state farm insurance? There were alot of cops cars and a fire truck. They had a section of the road closed and you had to go around.

Went to J-Rods today with my grandparents for lunch. It was really good. We got a ton of food. I have worked in restaurants for years and I am pretty picky. Service was great. Everyone was super friendly. Me and my grandmother had the turkey and dressing and my grandfather had a vegetable plate. He loved the mac and cheese and fried squash. I was very impressed. Alot of food for the money. Was under $27 and we all got a drink. I would deffinatly recommend J-Rod's!!!!

So does anyone know what they are putting in where the El Pollo Loco was on 278 in Hiram. I go by every day and they have been working on it a couple of weeks but havent seen any signs.
