Let me be perfectly clear that I believe her intent to be pure and friendly advice. I am also aware that negative news about your direct competition has it's benefits.

Simple. An employee of one social networking site "warning" folks about potential adverse consequences of using another very popular social networking site. I am sure your motives are completely pure and you are just urging your friends to be cautious and careful. And I am sure you have legitimate concerns about privacy and viruses which do seem to be a problem over there... But surely you can see and admit that Paulding.com has a primary vested interest in folks spending less time socializing on Facebook.
