I have a 2011 Chrysler 200. I bought it new from the dealer and this dealer fills the tires on all of his new cars with nitrogen. It's not a choice that I made and that's what I think a lot of people don't understand. They didn't come to me and ask which one I wanted, this is what I got. I can switch it out and replace it with regular air but there's a charge to purge the tires just like there's a charge to fill them. I bought a new tire at Sears on Thursday and they don't offer nitrogen. So, now I have 3 tires inflated with nitrogen and one with air and I'm fine with that.

My husband used to get them from his ex-wife all the time. She called nearly every day for the first year that we were married all under the pretense of having to talk about their child. We knew that the call wasn't really about whatever the subject was that she was trying to push but most likely would be about one of the side bar subjects that she would casually throw in and try to be nonchalant about. Normally we'd just sit back and wait. Sometimes it would the next day, sometimes it would be a week or so but eventually the fog would lift and the real reason for the conversation would emerg

I drove across the bridge right after the accident. Traffic was backed up and there was an ambulance but the person in the car was sitting up and alert. The individual was talking to the police and rescue workers. A day car van was pulled over at one end of the bridge but no emergency personnel were attending to anyone on it. That would indicate to me that everyone on the van was ok or it would have been surrounded by EMTs.

Hurricane Irene has the potential to become a mega

That's what I figured. It's not like Atlanta where everyone has a car and drives themselves around. Many people do not have a car because there is usually no need for one. Public transportation in NYC is much more advanced than here in Atlanta and lots of people, not just the poor, rely on it to get them around. It's so easy to tell people to get out but for a city where many are dependent on subways and city buses or taxis, it's much harder than just packing up, jumping in the car and hitting the road. I don't think that a lot of people down here understand that. It becomes expensive when you -

If they do decide to evacuate NYC. Are there enough taxis to get everybody out of town? -
I wish I did. I have a roofing nail in the tire. Road hazards aren't covered by Michelin (or so I was told). I thought the same thing since I did buy a brand new car, but no, I have to shell out $185 for a new tire.

Need airline advice from some seasoned travelers

Ask all of your friends if they know anyone that has a Delta Friends and Family pass, AKA a Buddy Pass. You fly standby but if you can find a flight with several open seats, you can save a lot of money. I flew this way for years and only got bumped twice. Once in D.C. and once in Boston. -
Hmmm....I called Dallas Dodge first because that's where I bought this car last month. They told me that I had to purchase a Nitrofill membership and only then would they do it. The membership was quoted at $49.99 per year. I didn't think $50 to top off the air in just one of my tires was worth it.

You guys crack me up. Just my opinion but if you buy a new car that has the tires filled with nitrogen, tell them you want air instead and make them change it. If you have nitrogen, you have to find some place that carries it and you have to pay for it. Plus if you have nitrogen, some places will refuse to mix it with air if you need your tires topped off. It's just a pain in the behind. My problem turned out to be a nail in the side wall so I need a new tire . I haven't even made the first payment on this car yet. This better not be an omen of things to come.

Thank you very much Solo. I did call and he charges $5. That's not as good as free air at QT but much better than $49.99 at the dealership.

Who is Vic Williams and how do I get a hold of him?

I have nitrogen in my tires instead of air. That wasn't my decision, I bought the car that way. Three of my tires have anywhere between 37 - 39 PSI nitrogen in them. The 4th tire on the passenger's side has 28 PSI nitrogen in it. That's a pretty big difference. The car feels like it is pulling to the right so I want to fill the tire and even things out so it will ride smoothly again. The dealership will put nitrogen in it but I have to purchase a membership for Nitrofill first that costs $49.99. Well, air is free at QT and is a quarter at Kroger. My question is - If I have nitrogen in the tire

I didn't feel anything at all. But then I never do when everyone else says that they did. The air conditioner at work makes a ton of noise and rattles the walls. If I did feel it, I probably just figured it was the air kicking on.

Spend the night in a hotel for a couple of days that offers these beds before you buy. I think that the Fairfield Inn & Suits on Paces Ferry over in Vinings has them. It could help you decide and save you quite a bit of hassle and money if you decide that it's not the bed for you.

I have the TempurPedic Cloud and it is great! It was pretty pricey but the 12 months no interest payments made it more affordable. I've seen 24 months no interest since I bought mine. I can't sleep on anything else anymore or I can tell the difference the next morning. I had heard all of the talk about there being a slight smell when you first get them but I didn't have that problem with mine. I also read reviews that stated they could be hot in the summer but I haven't encountered that problem either. I've had mine for about 18 months and I love it. I'm glad that I didn't let consumer revie

Our Inner Ape: A Leading Primatologist Explains Why We Are Who We Are by Frans De Waal

Don’t you just get tired of know-it-alls who try to tell you how to live your life? Lord knows I do! Some people do absolutely nothing but complain all day long and criticize others. We are all different and what's good for some is awful for others. You know what you want and what you don't want better than anyone else on the planet. Once upon a time (about 20 years ago) some nosey neighbor who thought she was an authority on all matters under the sun took it upon herself to tell me that I looked unhappy and that my marriage must be in trouble because my husband and I had a fight. She also sha

I wish somebody would pay me NOT to watch them because I could make a fortune. I'd rather hit my thumb repeatedly with a hammer than to watch them. It’s sad that some kids think they are cool and want to emulate everything about them.

Personally, I think some people are just confrontational and enjoy the drama they create with their inflammatory remarks.

I live in South Paulding and there is a woman that lives down the street that drives a gold, convertible Sebring. What age (approximately) is the driver that you are seeing each morning? -
I had to do this in 2004 long before Obamacare. The company that I worked for had gone through several big layoffs and was looking for any way they could to cut costs. I added my husband and step-daughter when my spouse was laid off. Initially I was allowed to add my step-daughter but then they clamped down. I was told that it was an oversight, should have never been allowed and that they were dropping her Why? Because she was not my child and because her mother was the primary custodian and not her father. Had her father been the primary custodian, they said they would have allowed it. I can

Was it junk mail or something rather offical looking (or a bank statement or bill)? If it's junk mail, I would chunk it. If it looks important, I would write not at this address on the envelope again and put it back in the mail box with the flag up. I've been known to take them to the Postmaster at the post office and I've even mailed a couple back to where they originated from. But these days I don't have time to be bothered so I just throw it back in the mail box.

You hear about a lot of stuff going on in the GA Tech area on the news. It really is a shame. I can only imagine how upset your son is.

I am so sorry. You will both be in my prayers.
