And you know Camden Woods subdivision, where the houses were robbed, is just down the street from the Kroger shopping center where the Waffle House is.

All three of the locations mentioned in the Nixle were robbed earlier this year just days apart. I think it was late spring or early summer. I don't remember but it was the same scenario. That makes me think that it's someone who lives in the community or at least nearby.

Diane Sawyer wants everyone to buy at least $67 worth of Christmas presents from American owned companies whose products are made in America by American workers. Sounds like a good idea to me. But I remember that back in 1998, according to the sticker on the door, my brand new American car (Monte Carlo) was manufactured in Canada. So how do you really know for sure? I found this website: http://americansworking.com/ but I wonder if there's a way to double check.

I like those back-pack picnic sets. You can take them on a picnic or to Chastain or the zoo or Stone Mountain, etc.... http://www.amazon.com/Picnic-Plus-Tandoor-Navy/dp/accessories/B000KFWTTU

That one is blocked also because it contains: Swimwear / Lingerie; Shopping; Search Engines / Web Catalogs / Portals; Fashion / Cosmetics / Jewelry; General Business Our IT guys have way too much time on their hands. They block sights randomly. Lots of shopping sites are fine but this one, Victoria's Secret and Yankee Candle are blocked. There doesn't seem to be a common thread between the three of them. Maybe there are women in swimsuits posing with candles on the last one. Who knows... Thanks though, it was worth a try! I'll have to check it out when I get home tonight.

Darn those IT guys, they have the site blocked! It says because it's an anonymous proxy

I get 12 days sick time, 10 days vacation time, 7 paid holidays and three personal holidays a year. I started my job in November 2007 and that first month, I received one personal holiday to use before the end of the year. When January 1,2008 rolled around, I got the whole thing (12 S, 10 V) that I have now. No pension (which I guess is the same as a lot of places these days) but a company matched 403B. Last year they suspended the company match and have just reinstated it. No raise for me or anybody else in the last 4 years but we aren't complaining. We like it here. We have other perks that

Don't you just LOVE that! They make me grind my teeth. Just as bad are the people in silver or grey cars who drive with no headlights in the rain. Their cars tend to blend in with the spray that the 18 wheelers kick up and they get lost in it. Why can't people turn their lights on? My husband says it's because they are lazy. I tend not to believe that because you have to be really, really, unbelievably lazy not to turn the knob to get your headlights to come on. But the alternative, if they aren't lazy, is that they are stupid. And that's even scarier.

Shrimp w/ garlic & butter sauce over spaghetti noodles. It was supposed to be served with fresh spinach pasta but I didn't realize that fresh pasta has to be frozen if you don't use it within a few days. My pasta was moldy. Husband said I should have known that but I'm no Betty Crocker for sure.

I want one of those elusive mayberries. I don't have any!

We are really enjoying the black ruby this morning. The silver bells is wonderful too!

The ugly American. I never really understood why Europeans would refer to us in that way but the behavior in the video seems to demonstrate why.

No tree yet but my husband did take advantage of the warm weather the other day and put the lights up outside.

All you black Friday shoppers should be ashamed

It ain't me. The only thing I ever camped out for was Bruce Springsteen tickets. It's too cold and I'm too old to sleep in a tent for a TV or anything else. -
Ditto! Thank you very much for all that you do for us. Happy holidays!!!
-
There is absolutely nothing that I have to give or receive this year. The only black Friday shopping that I'll be doing is from my computer. I plan to shop Petsmart online for Christmas presents for the four-legged family and friends.

The blonde Target woman gets on my last nerve. She is insane. I'm sure that Target didn't intend this but her character in the commercial annoys me so much that Target is the last place I'll be doing any Christmas shopping. I think I saw her commercials every five minutes last night because they ran them so many times.

I didn't see or read any disrespect in your comment. I didn't read the whole article, I only read half of it. So there you go, I should have read the whole thing.

I lived in Conyers when the Virgin Mary was supposedly appearing at the White farm every month for years. I lived down the street from the Monastery and I can tell you that at both places, there were thousands and thousands of Hispanic visitors. Many of them had driven from Mexico, Texas and other states to be in Conyers at the same as the apparitions. Millions of Hispanics are Catholic and the Virgin Mary is very important to them.

I am quite vocal in saying what I like and don't like all the time. As you well know, you and I had a difference of opinion last week and I let you know that. I really don't care if they can see that I gave them a negative or a positive. However some people just like to argue and pick apart every word that you write. And then there are people who post inflammatory statements just to get a rise out of others. Those people don't need my opinion explained to them. They just need a negative vote. A quick click is all of my time that I care to give to some people. Guess I'll just have to dig in my

Must be something new then because I've been doing for a long time as a non-paying member.

I tried to give somebody's post a negative but I got a message that said I had reached my limit of negative votes for the day. I'm sad because their trouble making behinds really deserved that negative as far as I'm concerned Anyway, I haven't given out any negatives today or even this week so what gives? How have I reached my daily limit?
