I really wouldn't see why the shoutcast wouldn't work I have used a shoutcast server before with over 70 people tuning in and it has worked fine but the specs of the server that it would be on are a large part to do with the ability of the shoutcast server...

sorry it is funny but its not funny in a way.... no tolerance rule of a threat with a deadly weapon? So zack's foot is a deadly weapon? hmmmm Does teh school not think that the kids say worse then that to each other out there on the field? sorry but I am still laughing about this....

true that would be something that would have to be looked into. and if anything basketball season is coming up as well. Maybe talk to the 3 high schools and see what they would be willing to do?

I am not sure about cost but I wouldn't think it would be to much.... I will look into how much one would be. How many ppl are you looking to possibly want the server to be able to hold?

not sure about a linux server but it would only take me apporximately 5-10 minutes to set the shoutcast server up on my computer its just my computer can't hold but maybe 3-4 ppl. Of course I am not on a linux based machine either. Would the server that would host the shoutcast be on your computer or somewhere else?

with the right connection and the ability to get up a shoutcast radio server as long as there was an internet connection in the radio booth at Rome you could possibly do it. as far as confrencing with a shoutcast server if you went that route I am not sure but I know that your sound card on your PC would have to be really good to do it. or you would have to configure the setups for it. I could never get the setups for it and trust me it was hard when I did 6 hour radio shows for releases and what not of certain stuff....

there is also an internet radio type that you can use to actually do broadcasting and atleast do a radio type feed via the internet. If you want to read up more on it you can go to http://www.shoutcast.com/ for more details. I have used it before for a little internet radio station I used to mess around with.

I have not talked to my brother about it to ask him about this incedent. I am sorry but I think its funny the reason why they suspended him. Although it was the right thing to do....
