The cell phones should be turned off in school
WHY DO THEY NEED ONE IN SCHOOL???
WHY EVEN TAKE IT INTO SCHOOL??? -
When I was in school (the OLD school) we COULD NOT bring in any type of toy, doo-dad, thingymajig, whatnot OR ANYTHING OR IT WOULD BE TAKEN UP TIL THE END OF THE YEAR! Mom & Dad said, Sorry Charlie.......shouldn't have taken it to school, you knew better! Now days, all people want to do is CRY, cause they/their kids can't take a cell phone to school. WHY SHOULD THEY??? Not unless you have a deathly ill parent at home! NO EXCEPTIONS OR EXCUSES! NO MP3 players, NO Ipods & NO phones! We could call it the NO-NO-NO Rule!

Is that what they call--- NARCOLEPSY(?)??? I just have problems going to sleep. Keep us informed. I'm curious about how these sleep studies work. THANKS

If I bought a NEW vehicle and it was having problems like that, I would grow roots under my feet before I left that place without it being fixed! If the actual labor time is over 3 hrs to fix a warranty item, they will pay for a rental car or give you a courtesy car (either case it should be equal/comparable in value to your vehicle being repaired) but, if they can't figure out the problem to start with, I don't know what to tell you. Now, if they just don't want to fix it,I'd be calling Clark Howard!!! I have been there and done that a FEW times b4. They "WOULD" give me a rental car just to get my big mouth off of the lot!

Well, my Fair Market Value has gone up $3,000 and the taxes HAS GONE DOWN $6, this is for this yr only. The over all (last 5 yrs) Fair Market Value has gone up $12,500 and the taxes only went up $43. Now, our old house, total of 8 yrs has gained $28,000 in value and the taxes only went up $70. WHICH 5 YRS STRAIGHT THE TAXES WENT DOWN! I really can't see all the fuss about property taxes but, I DON'T KNOW WHAT EVERYONE ELSES LOOKS LIKE EITHER!
But, then again taxes next year could be the opposite! it could go up $100. We'll see, huh???

If I want home cooked, type food, I will go to Oga's (in hiram) or a place in Bremen called "HOMETOWN" on Hwy 78, they have awesome food, you get plenty of food for the money. You get ,a meat, 2 veggies, roll or corn muffin, tea (soda is reg price) and a dessert (sp), all for about $6 and the Chicken & Dressing (fri & sun) is GREAT and the Country Fried Steak too. KEEP IN MIND THIS ""IS"" A COUNTRY PLACE. NOTHING FANCY!! JUST GOOD FOOD, NOT THE MAC-N-CHEESE, THOUGH!

Madea, you just go right ahead...... I use to waitress, and I loved it. Just not steady enough $$$ for me. If you are a chain you just have to suck up to the customers, pretty much and the Independantly Owned places CAN AND WILL BE RUDE AND CRUDE AT TIMES. I have a "DON"T COME BACK LIST" and we eat out pretty doggone often (I am a lousy cook) and my list grows fairly quick. So what about The Getaway?

I bought a new washer & dryer set last month and it is the front loader ones. I am not as pleased with them as I thought I would be. It is too LOUD (washer), the cycle with the presoak takes 2 1/2 (?) hours to wash. I was told the dryer wouldn't take as long to dry (about 30 min) cause the washer would spin MORE of the water out of the clothes, NOT. All my clothes come out of the dryer SO WRINKLED, I have to Iron EVERYTGHING and the "dewrinkler" cycle,lets just say.... forget about that! It IS a major brand, however, I will not say which one. Please let me know you thoughts on these appliances.

I received a call from theis place called GMRS, said they wanted to do a survey on the $15,230.000 bond referendum. I told the man that I did not know exactly what this was all about so I wouldn't be able to answer all the questions. Any one else get a call from these people??

Yes--they caught him. I think somebody turned him in--not sure. Can't keep up with everything on the scanner. They found the motorcycle somewhere in a ditch. All this was late last night. Lets just say that it sucks to be him!!!!

Thanks, cause I could not walk but just a little bit of ways before I start hurting and have to sit down for a while, and I bet there is not any place to sit down either, huh?? I could always take my daughter, let her drop me off at the front door and her drive around til I finish my business. Although that would be a big hassle, cause she lives 30 miles away!

So, when I go to the court house next week, where am I suppose to park! I have physical limitations and NO I DO NOT HAVE a handicap sticker! The City of Dallas has parking spaces but, you can't use them?????

Use to, you would have to try to cash the check, 3 times b4 you could take out a warrant for Insufficient Funds. I'm not sure if thats what you call it either. Hope it was not for a large amount...... Good Luck. Don't let 1 bad apple spoil the whole bunch.
