    Truly GOOD people are few and far between. I think that is why when one goes "home", it leaves such a huge hole in our lives. I never knew or met Mr. Jacobs, but it is clear that from all who did know him personally or from his involvement over the years with Paulding.com, that another of those special and rare people have gone "home".

    Ok, we have beat this horse to death and beyond. GoBlue is happy with the increase...I mean the decrease...I mean the 2.2%. And we have all put our 2 cents and more into wheither it is a decrease or an increase or just even and what constitutes an increase or a decrease or just a crease. I say we all go have icecream and not worry about it any longer.

    Understood, these are tough times and if I truly had the answers, I would be where they would be put into effect and help. My point was min wage is not where you want to stay, it shpuld be a starting point for those just starting out, by themselves.

    No argument on Congress. But if you make min wage, what in the heck are you doing starting a family? Before someone jumps on me about times being tough and losing jobs, I said "start a family"? Min wage in my day was $3.25. Only people I knew making it were in high school. Edited to add: and high schoolers in my day were not starting families

    That sounds like heresy, but nowdays most who have a larger wedding end up on their wedding night to tired to do anything but sleep. At least that's what I hear, we had a JP so I was good to go for at least 4 or 5 minutes.

    Short hijack. (you know how I am) I didn't build it, but I did visit it. Interestingly enough, at the Hoover Dam, the guides cannot say Hoover Dam. They have to use words like "barrier" because someone got upset at the word Dam and filed a complaint. No joke. Now this was around 2005 or so and I hope that has changed, but again, true story.
