A 12 year old should be responsible enough to be given a note and told to talk to his teachers to figure out which one it goes to, get it to the right teacher, and handle this for himself. Just my opinion but my kids did this for themselves and never had a problem.

Health insurance will be a requirement soon. If there is no insurance, there are options available. Same with life insurance since you can get that outside work. Retirement is the employees responsibilty, not the employer. If you don't like the holidays and vacation policy, quit and find another job.
