  1. Hold on here. You've been caught saying something that you can't back up. YOU SAID they claiming to be doing God's work. I asked WHERE they ever made that claim. YOU made that claim. You pointed to a prayer where they thanked God FOR the airport. So I ask again to show where they called it "God's Airport" and not point to a prayer thanking God FOR the airport. Those are two different things and you're making a claim you cannot substantiate. I'll pray for you because you're saying something that is not true. I will ask again for you to show some proof where God did NOT tell them to
  2. I'm afraid you did say they were claiming to be doing God's work. In your post above. What I find repulsive and disgusting about this airport, and this latest "great new idea" that Blake Swafford and his colleagues on the AA, IBA & BoC have found in the commercialization of this airport, is that they go out of their way dissemble and make it as difficult as possible for the citizens of this county to discover the truth about their plans and how their plans affect our lives and our futures....All the while claiming to be doing their work in God's name. It is blasphemous behavior, in my
  3. I was responding to Paulding Patti in the part atop your quote. But if you're praying for wisdom for the leaders, maybe God did answer your prayer and lead them to do this airport deal. If you believe God answers prayers, maybe he did. Maybe it is the people who don't like the airport deal who are not hearing what God is saying. Just a possibility.
  4. I see too many things Zimmerman has done that now causes me to question everything about his claims in his trial over the death of Martin. There comes a point when people have to admit that there is just too much smoke for there not to be a fire.
  5. Also, who are you to decide what God wants and what he doesn't? Maybe God told them he did want an airport. Maybe not but I want to see something more than your idea of what their motive was. Just a thought but maybe God answered your prayer and did lead them in wisdom in doing this project.
  6. That's not what you said. Your blog said they offered a prayer in thanksgiving FOR the airport. Where did the authorities say they were doing God's work in bringing the airport? I hear people thank God for all sorts of things but that doesn't mean they had a hand in it. Some people thank God for the 2 Falcons wins this season but they never touched the ball or called a play. So when you say those in authority said they were doing God's work in bringing that airport, I want to see something that substantiates that.
  7. All this negativity. I hope someone comes back in 10 years and admits they were wrong. I doubt they would but I hope someone does.
  8. I realize I've been working a lot and a 12 hour shift today means I'm not the best at remembering details, but could you please point out to me where anybody at the Airport Authority, Industrial Building Authority or the Board of Commissioners said they were acting on God's direction?
  9. It's called a public-private partnership. That's how contracts like this work. Oh brother. This is how contracts and government works regarding various authorities.
  10. The average income in those counties are much, much higher than in Paulding. There are better services and more opportunities, not to mention the jobs there are closer to where people live. If you want lower paying jobs, lower standards of living, then lets make sure the airport is not utilized.
  11. Didn't the same thing happen to Trey Radel in Florida? I saw the news report about his drug problem and he said the same thing as Rob Ford did about the alcohol being the problem.
  12. The sad thing is that this really is how you view the world. You are a very bitter and angry person. Life is too short to have vineger personalities bothering me, so I'm not going to engage this conversation with you. TTFN
  13. It must be a sad life and poor manhood to see life as you do.
  14. That is for a jury to decide, not the politicians whose election coffers are filled by the corporations. Even a $2 million award wouldn't be enough to cover the life long costs of a child who experienced that sort of abuse.
  15. Have you seen ANY reports that say there is no ankle bracelet? Innocent until proven guilty. Like it or not, that is how we do things in America. We value liberty here.
  16. OMG! That may have been my daughter in the bumble bee outfit! Looks REALLY familiar!
  17. Most people say you're wrong and blame the Republicans. When will this financial pain and job losses begin? I want to know as I'm sure everyone else does, too. Please give a date and solid numbers so we can see if you were right or wrong in this prediction.
  18. I'm certain he has an ankle bracelet. Those that think he will skip bail will have egg on their face when he shows up for trial.
  19. A hobo (me) and a bumble bee for my princess. Little girls make the cutest bumble bees!
  20. ^^^ This is what someone looks like who has no idea that Newt Gingrich and the Republicans began these Zero Tolerance Laws. Glad to know you think Gingrich, Dick Cheney, and Dick Army are Authoritarian.
