  1. He's my 43rd great grandfather. I am descendant of his son Pepin, this is through my dad's mothers side of the family. Fairly certain that my connections are legit, but who knows.
  2. I've lived in residential areas with neighbor dogs, currently we live out in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere, but the next house over has yard dogs. I guess I've just been lucky. I don't treat them for fleas and we haven't had an issue.
  3. Is this only an issue if you leave your dogs outside? I've had 2 dogs for 12 years, and a cat for the last 6. All are indoor pets. The dogs go outside a few times a day, but don't stay outside for more than 10 minutes or so at a time. Knock on wood I've never had fleas on any of them ever.
  4. They are not allowed to vote in elections in their college town unless they are actual residents. I was an Ohio resident while attending college in Alabama. I always voted by absentee ballot. Not to mention colleges, at least the one I attended require a photo id (provided by the college) to vote in college SGA elections, and to turn in tests to keep things honest in those minor things. On a side note, my college roommate my freshman year was a resident of Texas, however a local frat daddy was running for something in the Tuscaloosa city elections, and my roommate (who was in a sorority)
  5. Bumble Bee Bakery did my daughters 1st birthday cake with an little elephant sculpture, and it was pink and gray fondant. I really loved it, they did a great job.
  6. I don't see skulls, and it just looks like a picture of two boys. But I don't believe in ghosts.
  7. I guess I don't understand why they wouldn't start on a Monday. Seems like throw away days to be there 2 days and then take a weekend.
  8. Why would they start school on a Thursday?
  9. You think I'm 25? Bless you edited to add...25 straight out of college? It's a 4 year school you should be out by 22 at the latest.
  10. I would irritate the hell out of you people.... Aight, it is what it is, no problem, no worries, I use these phrases a lot. Mainly because it actually is not a problem to do something, or you really shouldn't worry. I do think it's hilarious that my 2.5 year old starts out her sentences with "well" Me - "What do you want for dinner?" 2.5 year old - "Well, (sticks her tounge out and licks the corner of her mouth), maybe mac and cheese." She does this to almost every question asked.
  11. At what point does a life become a life? You say fetus, I say child.
  12. I never understood being against the death penalty and being pro-choice. I don't think anyone should have a hand in deciding who gets to live and who gets to die. I definitely don't want that choice on my soul.
  13. When I didn't have insurance I went to a CVS minute clinic but it was for a sinus infection. My husband has been to the Doc in a Box across form Las Palmas when he didn't have insurance, but I think that was for something like an ear infection or sinus infection.
  14. The thing that bothers me most are the friends he has on facebook that have kids in their profile pic. I wouldn't want to associate with someone like that if I had children.
  15. I'm against it, here are my reasons. 1. I am consistently pro life. I am against aboortzion as well. I am also against murder. 2. It's better to see a guilty men go free than innocent men die. I've seen many verdicts overturned through new evidence or DNA evidence.
  16. I give blood every 28 days. I don't think anyone wants it though.
  17. I forget sarcasm doesn't translate well on the internet.
  18. CLEVELAND!!!! As a native of the Cincinnati area I am offended that you think he's from there.
  19. That's my issue. I have air, it just won't blow out the vents it's supposed to. I only get air where you would normally get defrost. Pretty sure mine is an electrical issue because it works fine until the car gets hot, which is when you actually need the air. I make it through spring winter and fall just fine, but when summer gets here my air won't work. This problem my be moot however, my husbands dealership has found us a 2006 Ford Freestyle fully loaded with low mileage. We may be saying goodbye to the Explorer today.
  20. Whats a blend door? I was just told by two seprate mechanics that they electrical issue that I have is very common in explorers. I can't really complain much about the car. I've put a lot of miles on it, it's been in 2 major accidents, and 2 minor fender benders.
  21. The rear end has been replaced several times under warranty, and apparently no longer under warranty has been replace twice by me. The A/C repair will start at $500. The part that needs to be fixed is inexpensive, but to fix it they have to remove the entire dash to get to it, which is labor intensive. Not to mention the electrical issues the car has. I can't open the two rear windows, and sometimes the car won't lock because since 2008 it's thought there was a door ajar. I just replaced the radiator last year, it's just a money pit. I want' something reliable that's not going to need $500 wor
  22. Can someone explain to me how to block someone? He makes threads unreadable.
  23. I was young and stupid when I bought my Explorer. I bought it brand new, ended up with 400 a month payments for 5 years. When I paid it off I was so happy I swore off new cars forever. I would love to be able to buy one outright and not have a payment right now, but it's not a reality. We're keeping on the lookout for something with a minimal payment that will get us through the next 4 years, then we'll have an extra $740 a month with the girls being out of daycare.
