I got 2 Kodaks, far as I know they work well Kodak 8.2 MP 3x optical zoom C183 - looks like $15-$20 on ebay or Kodak 5.0 MP 10x Optical zoom Z740 - probably $20-$25 Sad how technology becomes so obsolete so quick. I'm scared to see how cheap my Nikon goes for now

You live close to my husbands Aunt, they live in Pace, FL.

Same here, but I live in a rural county in Alabama, our biggest city is Headland, AL. Only way you've ever heard of it is if you drive to the beach. When I went to get my tags and my license I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Everyone is friendly because they all know you'll talk about them to someone else if they aren't They just put self check out in our Walmart on the northside of Dothan, I hadn't even noticed we didn't have it until they put it in.

Wow, ONLY 2,000 square feet? Bless your heart, how horrible.

That's my fault. I was being funny and trying to rename him z00crew in the reply. And found out when you type that it turns int former member. Apparently now a dirty word on pcom

Then you bring War and Peace and you sit there and wait your turn. If only voting lines were that long maybe those not wanting to get a photo ID would just give up and go home. Again, I am very understanding of the hardships people face, I have been broke and homeless, I have faced health issues, my own, and my child's. I feel for people, I am kind and I help when I can. It has nothing to do with age, it has to do with maturity and that can be reached at any age. Apparently even at your advanced age you're still working on it since you still feel the need to make excuses for people.

I've lived more life in my 33 years (actually, 27 days away from 34)than most. I have empathy for people and the struggles they face. But feeling sorry for someone and making excuses is enabling. I choose to believe that anyone who is 18 years of age or older has the ability to obtain a photo ID to vote. I'm not asking them to climb a mountain, or read War and Peace.

Again, this is classic liberal bull cheeze. There are a million reasons why you won't or don't do something, but very rarely is it because you actually can't do something. You want to make excuses for people rather than tell them to buck up and find a way. I don't let my 2 year old act that way, I definitely don't expect it from adults. Age gives you perspective, and yes we are all different living in different circumstances, but when we roll over and say "I can't" or "let someone else" then we are giving up. I will not give up, I will not walk away, I will not let something stop me from d

I guess that depends on how you define "best and brightest".

So questioning my level of intelligence wasn't enough, you then make a second post asking if I'm 12? No, I am not 12, I am 33 years old. I have two young children, and I have a full time job. Yet, I still find time to register my car, get my drivers license, and register to vote. I believe it was in the primaries, not completely sure, I was fairly far along pregnant, on bed rest (yet still working full time), and I managed to drag my butt to 2 different polling locations to vote in a county and city election. If I can get this done then anyone can get this done. My husband has an aunt

So Democrats are just generally lazy and can't be arsed to go get a picture ID?

Hiram arrests three individuals on Animal Cruelty Charges
kwood replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Were these people selling animals out of their car? I've seen that at Walmart before and I always wondered why they didn't get in trouble. -
I should post a pic of my youngest, when she was born at 11lbs 11ozs she looked like a sumo wrestler. She had to stay in the NICU for 5 days, people don't realize it, but the big babies have a hard time too. Mine had trouble getting oxygen which is why she was originally taken to the NICU, that resolved quickly, but she would not eat, and her blood sugar dropped. We had such a struggle getting her to eat and getting her to keep food down. It was the biggest challenge. And she had eating issues really up until she was a year old. Constantly threw up bottles, couldn't eat anything mildly solid.

I had 4 friends that gave birth at the same time I did with my first, all of us c-sections. We all 4 got pregnant and had our second kids say within 9 months of each other. 2 of us had repeat c-sections, the other 2 tried for v-bac's but ended up with repeat c-sections. I think it's great if you can do it. My dr didn't want me to try since there was only 17 months between pregnancies, and I never progressed with my first, and was showing no signs of progression with my second.

I notice this a lot. One of the things that used to annoy me about my ex was he had a blackberry before all the smartphones came out, and he would be on it constantly through meals and when we were relaxing at home. Makes me very aware. We never have cell phones out during family time.

It is beautiful, until they harvest it and it's blowing all over the place I love it down here, we are surrounded by farms land and pasture. It takes 15 minutes to get to any kind of store or gas station, but I'm used to that now.

Because even with ultrasounds the size of a baby before birth is an estimate. I've told this story before, but at 36 weeks, both of my daughters were estimated to be within an once or so of each other. With the first one I had gestational diabetes, and high blood pressure towards the end so we did weekly ultrasounds until I was induced at 39 weeks because they estimated the baby to be getting close to 10 lbs, which led to a c-section 3 days later and my daughter was 8lbs 8ozs. 17 months later, this time no gestational diabetes, and no high blood pressure, they did an ultrasound at 36 weeks

I keep thinking I want a new job. My only real reason is less than stellar pay and no benefits. Right now I get to work from home, which gives me great flexibility since I have 2 kids, and a husband that works full time. I can put in a load of laundry while I work, I can use my old commute time to get chores done etc. But I feel like I'm undervalued. I've been working from home for a year though, and it would be really hard to get back into getting up every morning and going into an office.

That's a stretch

I'm sure there are, White Oak park around Lake Eufaula seems to be pretty popular, but that's about 30 minutes north of Dothan. And who you calling a horse? It's been a mild summer down here, we've had a lot of rain in the last two weeks. We live between Columbia and Headland and there are a lot of Peanut farms down here. Our field looks to be planted in soybeans this year, it was Milo last year. There's about as much cotton as peanut though.

Northeast of Dothan, about 5 miles from the AL/GA line

I'll ditto that. For my second wedding we were getting married in Las Vegas, so I got a dress off David's Bridal Online site, they were dresses they didn't carry in the store. When it came it was in my size, but ran small, and it just had cheap written all over it.When I went to David's Bridal to have alterations they said they couldn't match the fabric to do what needed to be done. So I ended up buying one off the rack in store that needed little alterations. I ended up paying more, but the dress I ended up with was SOO much nicer, and not a whole lot more price wise. I was able to sell the o

Oh Dear! You should be afraid of an angel ghost, because if it didn't make it........you surely won't. I'd be proud to have a ghost angel. I'd be worried, cause it probably means I'm crazy.

Since "STRAWMAN" was in homage to former member, I've decided that since he/she is gone, I need to move on. So now I'm InLA, Lower Alabama, not that city of sin out west.

I've been married twice, my social security card shows my name, First - Maiden - New Last Name, when I got my license here in Alabama a year ago all they wanted was my social security card, birth certificate. Didn't ask for my marriage license or divorce papers from previous marriage. I guess they just assumed since the middle name on my social was the same as my last on my birth certificate that it must be the same person. But I had a whole other identity in between then. Glad I left Georgia, even though I've got all the paper work I'd hate to have to bring it in with me.
