I know someone who in the course of approx 4 years managed to get arrested twice for domestic, 3 times for DUI, once for driving suspended, once on a probation violation, and once for felony forgery. This just makes me hate them more and more. Lets be selective on the enforcement of laws because some part of our society just refuses to obey them. Drugs are illegal. Apparently locking someone up isn't enough of a deterrent, so instead of saying oh well, and letting them win, why don't we just go ahead and execute habitual offenders since they have no ability to live with in the confines of civilized society.
