  12. this was us. The house we got had been on the market only a few days. In fact, closing was pushed out because the seller didn't expect to sell it so fast. We were one of three offers on the same day. The first house we looked at in this neighborhood is a short sale. It was under contract in January-it's still sitting there, empty, under contract.
  13. We bought a house that was listed for less than half of what it sold for in 2007. Not a foreclosure. Our appraisal came back $6k less than what we offered.
  14. No. It was off Bill Carruth, near 278.
  15. They are no expensive, an you can get them at the hardware store. You put a piece on either side of the door. When they are separated, the alarm goes off.
  16. Oooh. We had one of those. We called him "the creeper". It was in our old neighborhood. I wonder if it's the same one. LOL
  17. Humph. I don't like this answer at all.
  18. I'll have to take the hubs. He is not Cuban, but grew up in Miami/North Carolina. He loooooves Cuban food. There was a place on South Cobb Drive. It looked sketchy (as a lot of places on that end of S Cobb) but we tried it one day, and it was very good. MrB ate there twice a week after that. I think he must have been their only customer, because they closed.
  19. I love Key West it is certainly a different world down there.
  20. Omg. That place is wonderful! MrB and I tried several things, and I thought I was going to vomit over the rail watching the sunset afterward. I ate sooooo much food. I could not stop, LOL. The food there is... Indescribable? I can't think of a word for it. LOL Now I'm hungry. Here it is!!! http://www.elmesondepepe.com/
