  1. Ooohhhh... How do you know? Lol MrB's daddy worked for their corporate office, that's why they lived there. LOL
  2. Don't think I can disagree with that. I really would like to see Paul Ryan run. I love him. He is "dapper".
  3. Oh, honey. Bless your heart. That sauce they use at Briar Patch is *not* Carolina style. Nope. And don't try to say you had some out of a bottle from Ingles, 'cause we've tried that, too, and it's just not the same. Ask my husband, who's from Rocky Mount, NC. He'll tell ya.
  4. I bet we could be friends, Jboogie and I. LOL The only time I go to WM is if I am out of something to do with sewing, and I don't have the time to go to Kennesaw or to HobLob on E/W.
  5. I'll vote for it... If state income tax is gone. And if vehicle registration taxes are gone... I am tired of paying taxes here. People do not "retire to Georgia". Why? Because of the taxes here. They go to FL and TN. I feel like we are taxed to death and I see nothing of it. Nothing. Where is our money going? I mean, really? Edited for spelling. Lol

    I Wonder

Please share. I'm curious to know. And I'm nosey.
  7. Publix does have the best meat. It's just really difficult for me to get to one. Kroger is the closest to me, and easiest to get to. Every week and a half or so, I go into Hiram and will go to Aldi. Between MrB and I we used to struggle to finish a gallon of milk before it expired. Now, we go through almost 3 gallons a week with BabyB. It's only 1.99 at Aldi. To me, that $1 each less adds up.
  8. Their "cheese nips" are sooooooo good. MrB is addicted to their "fig newtons". He likes them better than the name brand. Ive also been buying their coffee... We've ways been a Foldgers house, can't even drink Maxwell House. I honestly can't tell the difference between Foldgers and Aldi brand. Other than it is half the price. I don't go to WM because I strongly dislike it. Lol The people that shop there are forever on my nerves. I have found that Kroger is the same or sometimes cheaper on stuff like baby wipes and toilet paper and paper towels. But, I've even been buying my TP at Aldi, too
  9. I never shop at WM. I loathe the place. I love Aldi, and have been pleased with their meat so far. I was skeptical at first, but for te price I thought I'd give it a try. It's all been very good! Slowly, most of my groceries are being replaced with Aldi brand.
  10. Hubs had a box of Slim Jim's. Yuck. I had some of BabyB's spinach and eggs and strawberries. That's about it. Not really hungry.
  11. Oops! Just saw there's another thread. In all my excitement I forgot to check first. Lol Yeah, just saw it.
  12. Did you know you're quoted on the cover of Bill Carruth's new anti-Heath mailer? It's a snippet from pcom. I just got it today.
  13. Thank you! Thank you for reminding me of this. I've never eaten there, but my mom always wants to go. They are coming next weekend and MrB will be out of town, so I think I'll take them there.
  14. Yes, I may have some, too. I'm the same height as you (almost, I'm 5'1.5" lol) and I have some dress pants left from my office days. I have some cute button downs, too.

Yep. Its still raining! It's been pouring at my house for a half hour!
  18. Their BBQ is not good at all. I've never had anything else, though, so I can't say.
  19. Don't go for BBQ, feelip. It's not good.
  20. NJ, I have to change my address. It's something I keep forgetting to do... Is it too late? Will MrB and I miss the election?
  21. Love Hennen's. So glad you are going there!
  22. Wooooo that was funny!!! Lol, I kid.
