Well, I know this. I'm tired of the Christian Coalition having so much say so in our government affairs. I am a conservative, but I strongly believe in self governing. Maybe I'm Independent? Unlike the city of Dallas, who have yet to put Sunday sales on the ballot. On that, I digress. In Chattanooga, tour buses leave full of people to Biloxi and Cherokee. I mean full. Why can we bring some of that money here? Instead of letting it go to other states?

I know. I grew up there, and moved here about 10 years ago. I was 21, and went from making $8.25 to $13/hr. I thought I was going o be rolling in money. After taxes I brought home little less. I don't understand how TN can do it, but GA can. I'd gladly pay 9.25% sales tax if we didn't have the car tax or income tax.

Where does my car tax go every time I renew my tags? I hate it. Every year almost $500 we have to pay. In TN it's $25 a year. No income tax, either. I'm voting NO.

The prices have gone up dramatically. It's crazy. Coffee has more than doubled. Also, my comment sounded awfully b!tchy, and I didn't intend it that way. Lol it was just my frustration at the price increases.

And I'm sure it's Monsanto.... Look it up. OP, do you do the grocery shopping for your household? If not, then you haven't a clue as to how much food has gone up just in the last 3 years.

TP, that is creepy creep. If I could cook for anyone, alive or passed, it'd be Granny. She was my great grandmother, and no one has ever had food like hers. Lunch was a 10 course meal followed by coconut cake, all homemade and from the garden. The first dish I'd make for her would be fried okra, followed by greens. I'm mighty proud of those; I'm the only one in the family that make them like she did. I was 24 when she passed.
