  1. Folks, please. This whole thread is ridiculous. Heysuess crist. If they want to spend their money that way, fine. They earned it. I don't care. I don't know why so many others care. Don't watch trash TV and you won't care, either. If it makes a little girl happy, fine. Would I do it? IDK. Can't say. I don't have a girl. But if we can afford it, and BabyB wants to do it, then it's done. I just don't know why everyone is so touchy on this subject. WHO CARES? Maybe that's *my* problem. I just don't care. Unless one of you happens to be the mom of the little girl that threw her chicke
  2. I think WFAL recommended him to me once... Is this the same one?
  3. Haha! That's the best idea I've heard all day! Except for the nachos, of course. Maybe a tie.... LOL We'd rock that show.
  4. Okay, so, my nachos actually turned out fabulous. I had to tell MrB he had an awesome suggestion for dinner. I don't even care for nachos, but these were yum. I'm so awesome in the kitchen.
  5. We're having "homemade" nachos with a Mexican cheese I can't spell, along with taco meat and jalepenos. Per hubs request.
  6. I love her. Someone on here years ago posted a link to her blog for the chicken and noodle recipe. I don't recall who it was, but I was so thankful. Her blog cracked me up! I need her cookbook. I was so happy when she got her own show.
  7. Of course I don't! But I can't say I'm not jealous! LOL I'm glad you went! One of these days, I'll be there, too! Did you love it?
  8. Grrr. I hate you. I kid. My mother pretty much grew up in Turkey and Greece. I want to go Greece more than anywhere else before I die, even if all I do there is eat.
  9. We had linguine Alfredo, Caesar salad, and garlic sticks. Yum! Thanks Aldi! LOL
  10. Never, ever. LOL I met her once, when she was on the way to the bathroom at Buffalo Wild Wings, right after I had BabyB. She was there with people, so I didn't want to interrupt her, until I saw her alone. I was pretty heavy at that point so I don't think she'd remember me now. I have, however, seen her several times. I'm a stalker. Haha!
  11. I did not know she had a cookbook!! I must have it.
  12. Booo. It was a lot of fun. And I had an awesome fish plate from St. Vincent DePaul. It was sooooo good.
  13. I love Pioneer Woman! Have you made her chicken and noodles or vodka sauce? Yum. Yum. The vodka sauce is so easy and delisious! We are having crab quesadillas and pasta salad. BabyB is having fish sticks, steamed broccoli, and sliced banana.
  14. Awww! I'm sorry! We went around 10:15, and we're there until 1. I wish I had of told you!
  15. I saw SOLO today!! And I guess I saw RM, too, but I just saw the back of her. LOL I would have said hi but SOLO was a by away, ad there were many people around. She just happened to turn and look at something as she was walking with RM. BabyB was sleeping so I didn't want to take off. So, if you saw me, I didn't see either of you until it was too late. I wasn't being rude by not speaking. LOL I also saw LPPT, three times actually, but she was talking to people each time. We had a great time, and my awesome MIL bought me an awesome piece of art!
  16. You and Papi make me happy
  17. MrB loves Greenville. He spent a lot of time there before we met. I've only seen the crappy part as we are drivin through to the Ashville area to visit friends. I'd like to go and spend time in Greenville. And it's true about the peaches. My neighbor brought me a huge sack of them when she was in SC earlier this summer. Omg so yum.Best I've ever had.
  18. I wouldn't. Maybe texts or emails, but not a journal. That is personal to them, so I'd feel that private and my for anyone else's eyes.
  19. Red beans and rice, crock pot version. Pour a 1lb bag of beans and sort thru to be sure there's no rocks into a bowl. Cover with water plus about 2" and soak overnight. In the morning, rinse them, and put them in the crock pot along with a chopped onion, a chopped bell pepper, 1tsp ea of: garlic salt, pepper, powdered chicken bouillon, Cajun seasoning (Tony C.). Add two bay leaves, some salt and that's it. Cover with water and cook on low all day. When you get home, put your rice on, and slice some smoked beef sausage and sauté in a frying pan, then add to the pot. Add cornstarch to a
  20. Ha! Thank you! I've been putting off my crock pot chicken because I'm afraid it'll get soggy. I'm making it tomorrow. Unless I chicken out and bake it.
  21. What happened? Was this here?
  22. I usually use Paula Deen's recipe. Not her reciper, though. I don't know what that is.
  23. Boo. I was in Chattanooga, or else I would have come to taste some of Surepip's cooking! Zoo, no one would have mugged you. I've learned that a lot of folks have huge balls on the Internet, but IRL they are scared little mamma's boys. Most folks that would/do disagree with you politically would be a great friend otherwise. Trust. I'm conservative/independent/libertarian and most of my friends are raging liberals. LOL
