  2. I'm sorry you feel bad. I keep getting sinus infections that are like none that I have ever had before. Twice I have ended up at the doctor's to get an antibiotic shot and a steroid shot, and a script for antiobotics. Woohoo. They have been lasting about 2 weeks. The last one I got ended up with me having pink eye. I think it's this weather. Everyone I know is getting sick with something. I hope you feel better soon!
  3. I love flowering cherry trees. We have one that we put in our back yard and it is so pretty in the spring. It has done very well. I just didn't realize how big they get. We did have to trim it back last year b/c it was hitting the house. But it is so very pretty.
  4. Thanks for sharing. Those are funny lol
  5. Your Fryin posts crack me up! LOL - I was at Target the other day and went through the line next to his. I just started giggling when I realized that that was the famous Mr. Fryin. haha! The lady asked me what was so funny. "Nothing, just thought of something." I said. He's a cute boy.
  6. I think we'll be having hot roast beef sandwiches w/horsradish sauce and au juis for dipping, along with some fries & cole slaw or maybe some pasta salad. These sandwiches are so good if you get the "take and bake" bread from Kroger. Bake it, slice it length wise and then into thirds. I love it with this bread. Then I put the sauce, beef, & provolone on, wrap them in foil, smash 'em and bake for about 15 minutes. Yum. What are you guys having?
  7. Woo hoo! I've never been to Mardi Gras, but I don't do well in large crowds so I don't think I will. Everyone I know that has ever been loves it! I think we are going to try and go down next month with my brother for a long weekend, though. I can't wait!
  8. When we were dating, my husband gave me a DeWalt sander our first V-day together. I made a comment a couple of months before that one day I'd like to re finish my bedroom furniture. So, he thought a sander would be perfect.
  9. I know a lady that did this, and her eyes look really good. It really does look like she has just put on eyeliner and it is perfect.
  10. I have had the best luck with liquid liner. You have to be careful when putting it on, but it always stays put. I do wear a twist up pencil liner too. Not at the same time; I kind of alternate. I think that a lot of the time it depends on the brand & type. Look for a continuos wear type of liner.
  11. so not fair. Are you having their onion rings, too?? I'm sure you are. No fair. We are having chicken casserole and/or pizza. Left over night. But now I want onion rings.
  12. It's funny that this thread is up. I was thinking earlier that I would like to go vegetarian again. I was for years: from 13 until 23. Maybe I'm getting older, but I felt a lot better then. No, I'm not a tree hugger of anything like that, I just didn't like meat. Now I just eat it b/c my husband likes it so it's there. Anyway, my great grandmother lived to be 95, and was perfectly healthy until the day she died - we think it was b/c my great-grandpa had died and she missed him terribly. They'd been married since she was 13. She grew & canned all of her own food, milked her own cows, an
  13. This is such a great post. I said earlier that I have 3 BFs. But, really after reading this, I realize that even though I love them all equally, my friend Jill really is my best. I don't know what I'd do without her. We met in 7th, and she was too "risque" for me LOL. We remained friends though Jr. high, and 9th & 10th grades. Close, but not best. It was when we decided to join color guard in 11th. LOL, we were such dorks!! I needed something between tennis, and she just needed something. We both smoked, and would ride to CG practice together, late and reeking of cigerettes. Man, the direc
  14. That is so funny... I was just behind the lady as she was pushing her cart out of the doors to her car. I started to tap her and ask, but then didn't. Hmmmm.. maybe it was your daughter. That is too funny!
  15. Awesome! BTW - were you at the Kroger in Hiram tonight, leaving around 5:45ish? I saw a lady there that looked a lot like your avatar. Not sure... And I was too skeered to tap her on the shouler and ask I am shy...
  16. naturegirl, will you share with me, too?? Just the name sounds yummy, and I bet my husband would love it. Also, I saw on Food Network a couple of weeks ago a show about pizza. There were a couple of places in Chicago that will ship frozen pizzas. They all looked sooooooo good. Do you recommend a place? I was thinking about it earlier today. We LOVE pizza in this house, and MrB's favorite is Chicago style. TIA!
  17. This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing.
  18. Thanks! Haha - they both make me giggle! This really makes me smile... this is my best friend's almost three yearold playing in the snow in Chatt last week. He calls me "Nant Debnie" LOL - isn't that the cutest?? (instead of Aunt Stephanie)
  19. Yes, I do. I feel very blessed... I have three very close girlfriends that I consider to be my "best". I have been friends with them since 7th grade. I do not know what I'd do without them And then my husband is truly my very best friend.
  20. JR's galloping green gigantor makes me smile
  21. You're crazy! LOL it's too cold for that (now I am mad b/c there is no Dairy Queen near me )
  22. There was. I work not far from there and my UPS driver told me about.
  23. I love that name, too. It's my husband's name, but I still love it. We were watching Family Guy one night, and on the show Peter is asked, "What is the worst name in the world?" his answer was Keith. LOL - the episode was funny, but I rolled when he said that... (It doesn't take much to make me laugh )
