There's a Provino's in Chattanooga. THAT is my fav Italian place. If you don't have reservations at the one in Chattanooga it's at least an hour and a half wait. My sauce from MIL is thawing... I have to stop coming into this thread, 'cause all I want now is Pasta Bella or Provino's. Yummm...... :::stomach growls:::

My husband and I got married to this song. I love Ryan Adams, and the first time I heard this song, I thought of my life with my husband. I realize that it's about the Depression, but the lyrics apply to us just the same. So, this is our song.http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5IOXGxHOLIhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5IOXGxHOLI Can someone tell me why I can't post videos right? lol - I always end up with mumbo jumbo at the bottom.

are you talkin' to me?

Awww... thanks Guard Dad Happy Valentine's Day to you, too! Now pull my finger tee hee hee - couldn't resist.

You have got to try it at least once... man it is so good. I have had several dishes, and every one is wonderful. But, my favorite is the penne in vodka sauce. mmmm.... I am so glad that mu MIL brought me a cooler full of her s'getti sauce.... I am so craving Italian now. I just wish I had some garlic rolls from Pasta Bella to go with it.

I loved Johnny Carinos, and I miss it. I love, love, love Italian food. Does anyone know of a another good Italian place that is close? I like Pasta Bella, but I am wondering if there is one closer...

I went yesterday! I took my MIL by while we were out running errands. I wanted to go and get 1 loaf of french bread for dinner, and maybe something for dessert. Soooooo ... I ended up with one box & one bag full of goodies. And... not bread. I forgot to even look to see if they had any. Anyhoo, BBB, everything was wonderful, especially those honeycakes - OMG they were to die for. My MIL said I have to start sending those to her via UPS, and I have to bring her a bunch of cannolis when we go up there next time! Thank you so much!

I will have to stop. I am an idiot. I have zero food in the house. I haven't been to the store in 3 weeks. I have company, so I have to get some food. Ugh.... -
That is disgusting. I did not see the show, but I thought of watching it online. I just don't know that I can.

It's coming down hard here now! And it's sticking, too. My car is covered lightly and the grass is covered. Dude. That is the best idea I have heard all day. Even though I hate this crap, that sure sounds like fun!

You work in the same office park as my husband. It's snowing pretty hard at South Cobb Dr. & Austell Rd. in Marietta.

I realize all of that, but I have heard of instances where it has happened. It was on the news here, and it happened in Chattanooga as well. I realize that it is very rare that the case actually is an 18yr old/17yr old.

You have no idea how much I agree with that. Sorry - it has been proven over and over again that offenders will repeat their crimes. Now, I don't mean this in cases of registered offenders that are convicted becuase he was 18 and the girl was 17. I mean the child molestors. This whole thing just makes me sick. This landfill is one of our customers... the day after she was found, I had to make a call down there, not realizing it was the exact same one. The super was in tears about this... he and everyone else were in shock and heartbroken.

I did this with the Jessica Lundsford case a couple of years ago. I couldn't get the images of her father out of my head. I followed that case. I cried when they found her - under David Couy's (sp?) trailer. She could have possibly been alive when they went there the first time to question him, since he was an offender. Stories like these break my heart, and keep me up at night. This one did, too. I hope they keep many details hidden from the public, as I don't want this case compromised. That poor, poor mother. My heart goes out to her.

You read my mind!! Sorry... I know. He is still a human being and I must have compassion.

okay, good - I am not alone!

I agree with you, but I do see what LPPT might mean.... Where I come from, alternative school WAS for the bad kids. If they were trouble makers in reg. school, they got alternative school. Special needs children went to the same school as everyone else, but had their own little "wing" I guess you could call it. For severly disabled there was another school. For kids in the county that did want extra-curricular activites and wanted to work while in school, we had a vocational school. The Voc (as we called it) taught trades in different fields - hair styling, electricians, etc.

ETA: I am not sure why this made me laugh out loud... but it did.

Can I be honest with you? This is in addition to what everyone else has said about this, as I agree with all of them. But don't you think that you might have too much time on your hands since you are preparing yourself to catch somebody? I mean, seriously. I am sure you can find something else better to do with you time. Personally, I have had one ticket. I tried to beat a yellow light at the intersection of 278 & Florence. I did it. I didn't make it, and I got pulled over. You know what, though? I see people almost get t-boned at the same intersection everyday b/c people do that. I di

Sorry - I didn't see this yesterday. We stayed at the Key Lime Inn. It's just a couple of blocks from Duval. It's a nice little place - they have a parking area which I found to be a major plus when we got there. They have little cabin/bungalo things we stayed in. It was like a hotel room - A/C and everything. Just watch out for those little bugs. I don't know what they are, but they are everywhere! PS - If you like Cuban food, go to the cuban rest. at Mallory Square. I can't remember what it is called, but it's right on the square. It's soooo good! -
Girl, you and me both!
