I think you need a sign spinner on some kind of attention getter the corner of Dallas Hwy. I think the business would more than pay for the advertising. Your breakfast is much better than McDonalds and Starbucks. That is really your only competition there. If you could work out some kind of quick menu items, I think it would be a smashing hit!! If you need some ideas or want to brainstorm let me know. I have a few ideas! I spent a few years in the restaurant biz, and would love to see your place stay for a long time. I was actually thinking about this for you the other day. LOL

I think that you cant please everyone. As a server if I did the right things right, and to the best of my abilities I made a pretty good wage on busy nights. Others servers that just went through the motion and complained about not making any money didn't last long. In any customer service situation you should always strive to exceed your customers expectations. If you can do that in any industry you will be successful. What most people are saying is if you would like my 20-35% tip/gratuity, then treat me like you care how my dining experience is. That's all I ask for. The OP just wants to be greeted correctly when she enters an establishment. What is wrong with that?

We get some nice weather after being cooped up for weeks on end, and I over do it out in the yard. Now my back is pissed off at me. Sitting here waiting for the percocet to kick in. It was worth it though!

Taste of Dixie for a late breakfast after sleeping in. Then went to white oak park for a few hours. Came home and opened all the windows in the house and did a few odd jobs about the house and yard. The sitter came over and we put the kids to bed. Went to birdies for wings and beers with the intention of going to the movies, but the band was good and the beer was cold so we never made it to the show. Great day!

Here is my pet peeve. There is a restaurant in New Hope that is a CM on PCOM. Every time I am there I have to order my appetizer and keep the menu until we are done eating the appetizer and then order the dinner. I have tried over and over to order them at the same time and they always are delivered within minutes of each other. I have even had the entrees served before the app gets there. I have tried telling the wait staff please hold off on the entrees until we are done with the app's and doesn't work or if it does and the food is cold. I don't even try it anymore. It cut down on h

Just me personally, I would never buy the rodney's or bookworm, or 97.5% of others t-shirt. I would not pay to advertise for you. I might wear it if it was given to me, but I really don't think I would buy it. It doesnt mean I dont like your business, but I just wouldn't buy it.
