  1. I often think about if I ever get to where I can't do for myself, will I still care about what I look like? What is the one thing that will really bother me about my appearance if I won't be able to do it?
  2. The primary doctor is supposed to be in charge of his care and do the referrals, he's the one that referred us to the GI doctor. That is a good idea to contact insurance or the nurse's line. I'll do that tomorrow.
  3. That's what I was thinking too, especially anyone that was working in any job related to construction.
  4. Thanks. The GI doc sent the CT results to the primary doc thinking he would do a referral but the primary said the GI doc ordered the CT scan so let him handle it. ???
  5. My son has been going to a GI specialist for stomach pains. He has had several blood works done and a CT scan done last week. The bloodwork shows high celiac markers and he is scheduled for an endoscopy in three weeks. The CT scan showed left crossed fused renal ectopia - which is the left kidney fused to the right kidney. Has anyone ever heard of this? The GI doctor is not familiar with this.
  6. Haley has been my pick from the beginning, however Scotty did a great job on the Kenny Rogers song.
  7. Or is it too soon for MRSB to put baby pictures on here? I was just wondering how she and baby are doing.
  8. Could it be pleurisy? My oldest son had chest pain a couple of years ago that ended up being pleurisy.
  9. WOW! I'm glad she was surrounded quickly by so many caring people. Sounds like you both need lots of hugs.
  10. Wasn't he killed off in a recent episode?
  11. I thought she went down for a second because you couldn't hear her voice - when she was coming back on the stage. But she got up quickly and kept singing. Great performance with her dad.
  12. True. She was very surprised when she found out she was being taped when she was doing the bullying.
  13. I read about this on abc.com and they were just talking about this on World News Tonight about how difficult it is to get hired - the longer you have been without a job. Employers are looking at your resume and seeing that you have not worked in a long time and thinking that if no one else will hire you why should they. On World News Tonight they recommended that you find a way to plug the whole on your resume showing that you have been doing something - even if it's volunteer work that might pertain to your specific field, however don't mention that you were not being paid.
  14. I agree, State Farm is awful to work with especially when their driver is at fault. Geico is very helpful.
  15. I have been hit twice and both times my car was totalled. Seems like your insurance and their insurance should be working out all of this. So sorry this happened to you and hope you feel better soon but you probably will hurt more tomorrow. Glad your injuries weren't worse.
  16. I think I'll start counting backwards next birthday since my husband is almost 11 years younger and I still have a teenager at home.
  17. And some of us are already there.
  18. It was too spicey for dh but ds and I loved it.
  19. I have absolutely no idea who he will be investigating - it just doesn't make any sense. I'm not a fan of cliff-hangers either. I don't need a cliff-hanger to make me tune in to my favorite shows next season.
  20. Which one of the thousand suggestions did you use?
  21. NCIS is on right now.
