There was a classic country station not too long ago but it disappeared. I don't like the new stuff. I'm pretty much an oldies person, don't listen to country but there was a song back in early nineties I think by Keith Whitley and Lori Morgan that I really liked - The Rose or something like that.

You have to do the right thing especially when you know the house has been with that family all those years.

How awful. I hope he gets all his money back and the thief is caught quickly. To quote my son "I hate people" - not everyone - just the mean ones.
-
Thank you. back to ya!

I have had three sons, the youngest is almost 16, and I'm ashamed to admit that I never even thought twice about it when they were born, I don't really remember being asked.

I think it's a shame that we're losing the team too and there's not much of a fight being put up about it. We would have gone more often if we could have. My husband grew up playing hockey in Atlanta and my son has played in Kennesaw. They have youth hockey in Alpharetta, Kennesaw, Cumming, Duluth and Columbus and I believe in Warner-Robins. My son is actually more of a Black Hawks, Red Wings and Tampa Bay fan. He found the Atlanta Thrashers boring. We have also gone to see the Gwinnett Gladiators a number of times - just not this past season due to no money.

Thank you.

I was thinking the same thing "as a thief in the night" comes to mind. On the other hand I wonder if I should pay my bills that are due in the next few days or use the money to have some fun today. (just kidding) We just haven't had any fun in a long time, doesn't matter, gotta go back to Gwinnett Medical Center in a few minutes.

I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike - or - I've got a brand new pair of roller skates, you've got a brand new key.

Thank you. Apparently they are not doing the surgery since the bleeding is not from an organ but is from muscle and they can stop that without surgery. They gave her an injection of a medicine that she told them she did not want because she had gotten hematomas from it before - but they did it anyway.

I didn't see your original post either but I agree- Meth is the devil!!!! I have seen first hand what it can do to the person and to their family, haven't seen kids with the meth problem but have been around adults with the problem and they were able to kick it. Praying that you can get this evil away from your families and begin to heal.

My mother-in-law has been in Gwinnett Medical Center for several days for congestive heart and pneumonia. Yesterday she was moved to ICU because her blood pressure dropped very low. This morning she is in surgery for internal bleeding. Thank you for saying a quick prayer for her recovery.

She is pretty amazing. One of my facebook/highschool friends lives in Chicago and her husband surprised her with tickets to the final show taping this week. She said it was a great show. Oprah's show will be missed.

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about but I'm sure that I am right about whatever it is and you are wrong and that's the truth. (just kidding)

My mil lives very close to the one in Gwinnett and she and her neighbors are very against that one being used. -
That is good to hear and thank you for your support.

According to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta website, a nephrologist deals with the functionality of the kidneys, how they work. A urologist deals with the structure of the kidneys and urinary tract. Now I know the difference.

I hate that so many companies are trying to take advantage of people while they're down, only offering them $11/12.00 an hour thinking they should be grateful to be offered a job when they're used to making so much more.

Thanks!!

Wow, that's a lot for your son, and you, to go through. How is he doing now? There were some inflammatory markers on his bloodwork so if the endoscopy doesn't show anything he will have to have a colonoscopy because the doctor said it could be crohn's instead of celiac. Dr. Dinesh Patel at Children's Healthcare is his doctor.

25 bothered me because it's a quarter of a century, 30 is a great age. Now that I'm 60, I wish I had been more supportive of myself and had started taking better care of myself. Doing random acts of kindness is a wonderful idea but at the same time do acts of kindness for yourself too.

Hope you had a wonderful birthday!!!
