I saw that too - very cool!! They said they had been watching him for a while and were aware of his talent and abilities. Who knows, maybe a miracle will happen and he will have a complete recovery.

Some people become responsible adults but they still like to see how shocking they can be at times, keeps things from being so boring.

We all have to go through those teenage years of seeing how many adults we can shock and how bad an attitude we can have, before we become responsible adults.

According to their website, UDI's Gluten Free Foods can be found at Ingles and Publix locally. I'll have to go check them out.

The GI doctor says there are many more choices of food now then there was even five years ago. I just wonder if it's because the foods that we buy have so many additives in them. Teenage boys eat pizza, ramen noodles, mac 'n cheese, CHICK-FIL-A - his favorite, bologna sandwiches. He likes salads and fruit too. There are so many things that have gluten in them that you have to be really careful.

It sounds like I should be able to find things for my son to eat. The hard part will be getting him to try the new foods - well maybe not too hard because I know he is tired of living with constant stomach pain.

That's probably where we'll end up going. Wish there were more of those around.

Has anyone gone gluten free after being diagnosed with celiac disease? If so where have you had good luck locally finding gluten free products?

This just reminds me of how my dad and my brother-in-law used to be able to fix almost anything around the house that needed to be fixed years ago including all of the family's cars. I remember my dad taking tubes out of the tv set and getting them replaced to make the tv work but that was many many moons ago.

I hope you find it too since it seems to be driving us all crazy looking for it for you. You would think that none of us have a life anymore.

60-70 is ideal for me. 95 would rate a 2 or 3 especially for spring temps.

I hardly ever call anyone - hate talking on the phone. My husband is on the phone all the time. He will leave my son and I at the table when we go out to eat while he goes outside to smoke and talk on his phone.
