How would you do a carry-out meal from a restaurant without styrofoam?

Styrofoam may be the latest product to watch out for because it could be carcinogenic. Just saw the story on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer.

That is so awful and so funny at the same time.

I was in Kroger a little while ago and turned too quickly around a display of bottles of Flip-Flop wine. If my cart had not stopped the bottles from falling, (I managed to grab them too) there would have been broken bottles and wine all over the floor. I was so glad they didn't fall.

Wow, I wish I hadn't read that. It goes without saying how horrible this is for the mother but it will be a long time before that staff gets over it too. How do you get the picture out of your mind???

I know what you mean but sometimes people just stand there forever and will not finish and move on or at least move a little. I always try to move out of the way if I can't find what I need right away if I see someone needing something from that particular area. Then there are people - groups of them - that carry on conversations in aisles, oblivious to people trying to shop.

And I need a magnifying glass in addition to my bifocals for reading directions and ingredients on various items.

Good thing you didn't go to the Hiram Walmart. Maybe you should have told her that you'd be glad to sell them to her in the parking lot for twice as much.

I just clicked on careers at the bottom of their website and they are now hiring for a new store in Snellville but not for Hiram yet.
