  1. In the upper right corner of a post there is a thing to click on that gives you a choice of hiding that post. I don't know if they are notified when you unfriend someone - I've wondered that myself.
  2. Have you been to the one in Valdosta? We went once and enjoyed it and my dil took their kids last year and had a great time. I think it's called Wild Adventures or something like that.
  3. Jessica's voice was beautiful tonight but I love that last song that Philip just sang. I hope he wins.
  4. Looks delicious. I'd like to try that with chicken or pork, trying to stay away from beef.
  5. Yes, I have already had to hide a lot of comments that I think are very distasteful.
  6. I just saw where CSI Miami was cancelled after 10 seasons. I guess it was time but I will still miss it.
  7. How sad. I just saw that on facebook. RIP Robin Gibb.
  8. I've been wanting to try them. Thanks for the recommendation.
  9. I can't believe they cancelled Harry's Law. I loved that show and I also liked Missing. I thought that was a cliff hanger for the next season - didn't know they cancelled it. I've been waiting for Memphis Beat to come back on, now you're saying they've cancelled it?? I was disappointed when they cancelled Hawthorne too. Too bad they didn't leave One Life to Live on since they've now cancelled Revolution.
  10. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I'm glad he's not your son's father. Things will surely get better for you. Congrats on your son graduating. Here's to a brighter future for you both.
  11. I am sorry for your family's loss. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
  12. Does anyone else watch this? Tonight they are looking into Paula Deen's family history in Georgia.
  13. I hope she is safe and finds her way back to her child soon!
  14. I'm glad he stood up for himself and glad the Judge gave him permission to attend his graduation.
  15. This is so sad. I didn't know she was sick either. RIP Donna Summer.
  16. I didn't know you were having problems. Prayers and good thoughts coming your way.
  17. My sister and I both had it at the same time back in 1970. She had it worse (ulcers in throat) and was told to go to bed for two weeks, I was allowed to continue doing whatever I wanted. She got well quickly but I came home every day and slept, had no energy for months. Took me a lot longer to recover.
  18. I saw the previews too and I'm curious to see what they do with it. I watched Dallas, Knots Landing, Falcon Crest and I can't think of the name of the one with Joan Collins.
  19. I haven't watched it this season because I watch The Good Wife instead but it's not on tonight. The finale is making me a little sad, or maybe it's just mothers day making me a little weepy. Anyway the show will be missed.
  20. I am so sorry you are going through this and it is so heart-breaking. This just serves to remind me that there is always someone else having worse problems. I do hope the person you are talking about gets help soon but they have to want it. In the meantime try and take care of yourself. Will keep you in my prayers.
  21. Glad you are recovering and I'm sure you'll be enjoying a little one in no time.
  22. Sounds like you had a better than "Hallmark" moment. Very sweet and very well said.
