The music sure brought back memories. So while Bobby is recuperating, J.R. and John Ross will take over I guess. I wonder if there will be a new Falcon Crest and Dynasty too.

I can't believe they started it out with Bobby getting bad news.

Made a great salad last night with fresh greens, carrot sticks, grape tomatoes, corn relish, black beans, shredded cheese, spicy tortilla strips, spicy chicken and Hidden Valley Farmhouse Original Southwest Chipotle dressing. I should have put sliced avocado on it too but didn't have any.

There are plenty of churches that spout hate against the gay community and I'll bet they're allowed to adopt their share of highways. (This does not mean I condone the actions of the KKK.)

My heart goes out to both families. So sad.

My son is that way and we very seldom eat together as a family. Drinking and breathing noises bother him too - not just a little bit but make him angry where he has to get away from it. Makes it hard to do anything together as a family, especially if it involves traveling very far in the car.

Sounds to me like a parent trying to restrain his 15 year old daughter to keep her from going to a party and that is probably what started the altercation. She probably said she was going anyway and he probably grabbed her and that's how she got the scratch. She probably said I'll show you - and she called the police. Some kids think all they have to do is threaten to call the police on you and you'll give in and let them have their way. But then again, maybe he did lose control from the frustration of being the parent of a 15 year old.

I don't feel so bad now. I'm a very private person too. I don't like to stay long when I visit and I would prefer to not have visitors. However I do wish my parents were still alive so I could visit them in Indiana and I wish I could make a quick trip to Albuquerque to see my son and his family.

I've been buying the frozen blackened salmon from Sam's - it says Atlantic farm raised salmon. It cooks quickly in the oven.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Our oldest dog, Ellie, is 16 and I know we will be going through that soon. The other day she did not get up to go out when I opened the door and the other dog went out. I kept calling her name and she didn't move. My heart started to hurt and was beating so fast. I think she couldn't hear me because she finally got up and went out after my son came in the room. I just didn't want to try and shake her because I didn't want to think that she might be gone - stupid, I know.

She is very adorable!! I know you are enjoying every minute with her.

They are adorable. They grow up so fast too, seems like in no time they are teenagers.

I had googled it earlier too and read that. I doubt that I will watch any more episodes.

American Colony: Meet the Hutterites, a documentary - series premiere. The show prior to this was about ex-Amish. I have never heard of the Hutterites before. Is anyone else watching this?

I think if the grandmother just wanted her granddaughter to come over and vacuum or clean a bathroom that it would be fine to do just that for free - or clean the bathrooms and vacuum for $50.00 would be okay. To expect them to do all of that - wow, I wouldn't ask anyone to do that. I certainly would expect them to quote me a price first before they started.

My son's ENT did a culture to verify bacteria before giving him an antibiotic which he was on for 14 days. I've always heard that antihistamines thicken the mucus which makes it harder to drain.

I've never cooked them but have you considered marinating them and then making kabobs?

I use a sinus wash every day but when my sinuses hurt, I put a damp cloth in the microwave and heat it for about a minute and put that on my face. I then massage the sinuses and heat the towel up again and put it on my face again. I keep doing this until I feel the sinuses start draining. My son has had recurrent infections and I finally took him to an ENT. He will be having surgery soon for a deviated septum and nasal valve incompetence.

I thought it was a great show tonight however I missed the Fantasia part. I really love Phillip's new song. It seems that the women/girls always try to out-sing each other. The phone-book singing was cute.

So sorry to hear this. Maybe a second opinion is in order, especially since you no longer have trust in this doctor. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
