One would think to wait to install these when there are sidewalks leading to them. If people are walking along these roads, they are walking in the ditch in many spots. There is hardly a shoulder to walk on.
-
Looks like another crosswalk signal down. There are no sidewalks leading to these, what a waste! Now another government employee will come out and repair for no one to use. Whoever approved these where no sidewalks lead profited someone's pocket, shafted the taxpayer. Intersection of 120 & 278.

That is a fairly new neighborhood in the area. I'm wondering if they moved in, never let the kid out, so that no one even knew they had a kid. Soundproof room with no windows? Horrible!!! Amazing that the sisters didn't somehow let information slip to their friends. So wrong on so many levels. -
OH, thanks for the comment! Thanks for the link, I called, they are owned by Flgraphix who leases the land from the county. County gets a % of the lease on the signs. 25 are now installed, 130 proposed. County and DOT approved. Something to look forward too....great, more signs.

Seems like a huge waste of taxpayer funds! I don't need signs to tell me where local businesses are located. Wonder how much it cost us per sign and how much it costs for an employee to post new signs on the kiosk? Is this a David Austin idea?

fyi I stopped at the mower shop on Mt Tabor and a house across and down a bit, no luck. Will keep my eye out for it....

So glad you are okay. Prayers that it will turn up.

Shocked to hear about Cliff Sunday at church. I can't think of a better guy, one who has a great relationship with his God, serves his country, loves his family, friendly, so giving, a true testimony for what a man should be. I met Cliff a few years back when our sons played ball together at New Hope, at the first introduction you walk away knowing that this is a great guy. The funeral home was packed last night, another evidence of what an awesome guy he is and a great family. Prayers for the family! Looking forward to seeing him again!
