Certainly it is your right to decide if you want to help someone or not. My point to you, based on your previous post, was that it seems that you have a criteria that a person needs to meet before you are willing to help... and in some cases, there is no time to investigate the reason they are in need... you either want to help or you do not. In this case, they could have.. and should have... handled the fire and then sent the guy a nice big bill. If needed, they could have put a property lean on his house. I say F that fire department. Certainly the jackass should have paid the fee, and I am sure they could have turned around and charged him quite a bit for responding even though he hadn't. But for them to refuse to do anything is wrong. I have known of FF who have stopped to help people in wrecks or with fires that didn't even live or work in the area. Should they have taken the same stance? Is this what all of us should do now? F your fellow man? Most of you have made me sick. And some I am very surprised for this to be the case.

If North can learn something from the butt-kicking they took from East, and come out fired up.. then they may stand a chance. At this point, I will be at least ok with a strong showing. There is no reasonable excuse with how they played last night. A loss after a tough fight.. I can live with that. A loss because you don't put out...that I cannot stand.

Every person there last night can recall things, on both sides, that lacked class or displayed poor sportsmanship. But if you're looking for a list, look elsewhere. You'll get no such list from me. I am a North parent. I saw some of our guys spitting and scratching at the shield. I didn't care for it, but it is not uncommon. As for the game, our team didn't even show up. To me, it seemed as though only a few of our players did anything. It was sad and embarrassing. But for the East parents that claim their team exhibited class??? Before I was a North parent, I was an East parent... two boys that graduated from East.
