I am sorry. There is no hard, fast rule. I try to close at 90 days, others do differently. Some at 45 days, some at 30 days, but when a poll topic is reported and you can see that the last post was two or three days after the original post, that poll will be closed.

Not every mod is on everyday. No mod sees the PM's of another mod. If there is a dispute with a mod, PM the details to Sheriff Andy Taylor and he will investigate.
