  1. Dot, Val, & Family, I am at a loss for words. Please know that I will be lifting your family up in prayer. It was just the other week I hugged her. It was just the other week I watched as she knelt beside her son at the alter instructing him in prayer. She was a loving wonderful person and a loving mother to her son. May she rest in peace. Annette

  3. LPPT, I knew I liked you for a reason! You're my kinda people! Of note, Merlot goes well with truffles too!
  4. SADIE LOL Guess that's why they say they're still "practicing" medicine over there at Resurgeons!!
  5. While I've never had it happen to me, I have observed local LEO tailgate others, RIGHT ON THEIR BUMPER, on a regular basis. I assume it is an intimidation tactic. I wish they'd address this "tactic" as it's clearly not a safe driving practice. Just my humble opinion.
  6. $99.00 Drs Vision Works at Town Center. Eye exam and two pair of cheap glasses. But hey, they're only $99! They're located on the upper level, between Macy's and Macy's home Furnishings.
  7. I didn't notice any candy slinging, I saw a few candy tosses, and there was a really disturbing married guy with 3 young kids that kept checking out teenage girls a bit too much when his wife wasn't looking, but truth be told... I was really too distracted by the East Paulding Raiders blowing the doors off the parade with their band AND ROTC!!! RAIDERS RULE!!!!! Almost forgot, my vote for next year's theme would be SMALL TOWN CHRISTMAS, while we still can claim to be a small town....
  8. Here's a few "PG" versions These are great...especially the first one *Tiger's new movie is out: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Hydrant. * Apparently the police asked Tiger's wife how many times she hit him. She said "I don't know exactly... but put me down for a 5." * Tiger Woods is so rich that he owns lots of expensive cars. Now he has a hole-in-one. * Elin's excuse? She had to play a bad lie. * What's the difference between a car and a golf ball? Tiger can drive a ball 400 yards. * What were Tiger Woods and his wife doing out at 2.30 in the morning? They went clu
  9. Thank you. Brandon has always been dedicated to all his endeavors. In high school at PCHS, he worked out all summer one year for Basketball. When it came time for try-outs, "Coach" Boone told Brandon not to even bother trying out as he would not make the team. Brandon's CP causes him problems with his legs and with balance and coordination. Brandon didn't let that Jerkweed, I mean, alleged "Coach" get him down, he signed up for Cross Country instead, ran his tail off and lettered in it!
  10. Prayers said and I will continue to lift them up in prayer. Sending good JUJU too! I know it's hard but try and think good thoughts! The power of prayer and positive thinking both go a lonnng way.
  11. For those of you that don't know, I am very thankful that God chose me to bless with my oldest son, Brandon. I was 6 1/2 months pregnant when I had a car accident that sent me immediately into labor with contractions 1 min apart. They put me on meds to slow the contractions and kept me in the hospital on bed rest. On the 3rd day my water broke. Doc says it'd be OK, just stay in bed. I kept complaining to the doctor that my belly was sore and swollen. They wrote it off to the seat belt bruises as the ultrasounds showed all OK. On the 4th morning I awoke at 4am to a bed soaked and dripping in bl

    Women ONLY!

LR, That's what I wear too, just the anniversary band. Wedding bands are tucked away.
  16. Both my parents worked for Lockeed and Boeing. My Mom was with Lockeed in Marietta for over 33 years and she was one of the first women elected business representative, working for International Aerospaceworkers and Machinists Union Local 709. She had cool little booties with sandpaper type gripes to slip on over her shoes so she could walk out onto the wings of planes to discuss grievances with workers while they worked on planes. She used to discuss grievances with employees while taking test flights in the C-5's. She had an awesome run with IAM709. Sing it with me, UNION YES!!! (
