  2. On the day before Thanksgiving at 2pm New Georgia Public Library will have a Mayflower descendant here! Dr. Arthur Chapman is a descendant of a Pilgrim on the Mayflower.   5. Chain of Gratitude Too often Thanksgiving is just about turkey and green bean casserole. Let's show everyone how thankful we are as we move into the Thanksgiving holiday. Remember the old paper chains you made at school when you were a kid? Well, at New Georgia Public Library each patron can write on a slip of paper what they are thankful for. This will be made into a chain and we will see how far around the library we can go! This is a good way to actively THINK about what you are thankful for and we can watch as the chain gets longer.   24. No, we don't take debit cards or credit cards. The library hours are Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm and Friday and Saturday 9am-5pm. All four libraries are selling them.
  25. All Paulding County Libraries are now selling our " Paulding Library Cookbook" for $12.00 each. This is the cookbook we were asking for recipes for earlier in the year. All proceeds go to help the libraries. In addition to recipes there are pictures inside from Paulding County's past!
