New Georgia Public Library is closed for the rest of the day due to weather.

Coupon Exchange this Thursday (1-30-14) at 6pm. Everyone will bring coupons for products that you don't use and exchange them with other people. This is the first time we have tried this so come on out!!!! The library is located at 94 Ridge Rd. Dallas. Call 770-459-8163 for more information.

New Georgia Public Library observes Black History Month in February. Ms. Elise Hill will teach a class on beginner genealogy for African-Americans that would like to trace their family history. Many time African-Americans run into challenges while trying to do genealogy. Ms. Hill is an expert on this. It will be Saturday February 22nd at 1:00pm. Open to the public, everyone welcome! The library is located at 94 Ridge Road (across the street from Publix).

Remember the library will be closed Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We are open today (Saturday) until 5pm. System still down however.

The Pines Library System (statewide) is down from now until Tuesday. This means we can not look up books or place books on hold. Patrons will not be able to make payments on their account. We will not be able to check books until Tuesday, you can bring them but they will be set aside until the system is back up. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

New Georgia Public Library will show a "kid friendly" movie today at 4pm. Our movie license will not let us tell the title, but it is ones kids will like. Free Popcorn!
