  3. The brand new Crossroads Library has wi-fi. This new 10 thousand square foot building is a very nice place to go. Located in the Seven Hills/Bentwater area just off Cedarcrest. The address is 909 Harmony Grove Church Road, Acworth 30101 (it's still in Paulding County but a Acworth address.)

  5. A ranger from the Etowah Mounds Historic Site located in Cartersville will be visiting two library in our county. Ranger Steve McCarty will be having a discussion about Native American tools and weapons. He will be bringing artifacts to show and will have an outdoor demonstration. New Georgia Library program will be Tuesday November 22nd @ 3:00 in the afternoon. This library is across the street from Publix on Ridge Rd near the intersection of Hwy 61.   7. On November 10, 2011 two authors will be appearing at the Paulding County Library located at 1010 East Memorial Drive in Dallas. Dot Moore is the author of "Oracle of the Ages" which is about the famous Georgia Fortune Teller Mayhayley Lancaster and her other book is "No Remorse" which is about a famous 1948 murder committed in Georgia's Coweta County. Dot will be at the library at 11:00am. The other author is Carol Harper, her book is "You Might be Dating a Jerk If..." which will empower women to have healthy self-esteem so they will recognize men that may not be good for them.   8. Many people do not have their own computer at home. The library has computers for the public to use. There is also a fax machine and copy machine for use. Eldery people LOVE libraries, a large percent of older people don't use E-books but like real ones. and enjoy the interaction with HUMANS. Children in school many times are required to have REAL books as a source for reports as the teacher won't always except online material. Also in the summer there are things for the children to do.
