New Georgia Public Library, Hiram Library, Crossroads Library and Dallas (Sara Babb) Library is selling advance tickets for Paulding Meadows Craft Fair. We are selling them for 2 dollars. If you wait and pay at the gate it is 3 dollars. Come on down and buy some!

For the first time ever, all Paulding Libraries will be OPEN on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. This is August 31st. So everyone come by and get a book on the way to the beach or the lake! The libraries will be closed on the Monday of Labor Day (Sept. 2).

New Georgia Public Library is looking for a volunteer. We would LOVE for someone who can either crochet or knit to volunteer to teach beginners at New Georgia Public Library. This would be a nice way to give back to the community. If you are interested call 770-459-8163. THANKS!!

New Georgia Public Library will welcome Ms. Kim Waid on Aug. 27th at 2pm. Ms. Waid is the Community Outreach Coordinator for "Affinis Hospice". She will dispel some myths about a Hospice and explain the importance of a Hopice. This is a very difficult topic, but it is an important one. Come to New Georgia Public Library on Saturday September 7th at 2pm. We will have a member of the "Georgia Garden Railway Society" http://ggrs.info/GGRS/Welcome.html. He will show and tell about the great hobby! This is not only a "kids" type thing. This is for adult collectors who are train lovers. This would be a fun thing for fathers and children to come to together. Remember, it is Saturday Sept. 7th at 2pm.

Mark your calendars for September 10th at 2pm. This would be good for older homeschool children as well as adults. New Georgia Public Library will welcome Retired Army Capt. Donna Rowe on September 10th at 2pm. She was head nurse in the emergency room/triage in Saigon during the Vietnam War. In 1969 went against orders and saved a Vietcong baby (who is now an adult living in California today).
